GM Genuine Parts 24232325 Automatic Transmission Rear Output Shaft Seal

Built exactly like OEM. Perfect fit. Stopped the leak as my old one was torn. Works as expected. And that's with me sitting it all the way in using a can, a rubber mallet, plus a square chisel. When you're removing it though I found that it's best to use a 1" putty knife with a diagonal edge and not a square edge. There will be a seal lip that sticks out more where you can wedge the putty knife. It will also act as a leverage to pull it up. You don't even have to go around the whole seal lip but right across. At first I used a screw driver that scratched the mating surface and was fighting me the whole way. I scratched the mating surface badly but was able to recover with JB Weld putty if you do go this route.

Good part. OE quality. Fits my 4L60E although the description said it would not. I like the dust seal on outside of the actual seal. Has to trim it for my application. Good price.

Seal seems well.Made should meet or exceed the the original seal. Only time will tell.

This seal fixed my transmission output shaft leak and also fit my 2007.5 silverado with the 4l60e even though amazon told me it would not. The hardest part of install was trying to seat the new seal inside the rear of the transmission tail but would work easy with a socket around the edge.
