It Works!!!
It Works!!! I was so hyped to drain this sink that I forgot to take before and after vids/pics. The sink in my bedroom was clogged and i put all kinds of drain cleaner in it. It would do down a little bit but then stop. This went on for about a week. So I looked into getting a snake and came across this one. For the price, I said I'd try it and if this didn't work I'll call a plumber. I took it right out of the box, read the simple instructions and went to work on the drain. It literally took me all of 10 mins if that, to clean the drain. There's no back up at all. This is definitely great for small drain issues. Im' glad I made the purchase and saved some money.

Works Great but is Thick
Had a clog about 15 feet deep in my sink drain and it worked perfectly. Tried using drain cleaners with no luck this was the only product that worked. Only issue is its a bit difficult to use at first but with some patience it works great, it is a little thick so for a smaller p trap it may cause some issues

Works great but handle needs to be stronger
We got this to unclog our shower drain, and it actually worked! I was skeptical at first, but it really does the job. It’s flexible enough to reach deep into the drain and pulls out a surprising amount of hair. The little barbs grabs everything without damaging the pipe. It took some effort to pull it out, but it cleared the clog completely. The only concern is the handle — it’s plastic and doesn’t feel durable. If it breaks, the twist part won’t work anymore. Still, super satisfying to see the drain clear and definitely worth keeping around for quick fixes.

A perfect tool with gloves to clear the drain
After reviewing many choices, because of it's design and durability, this snake worked in the same manner that the electronic versions have worked when I hired plumbers. The key to any plumbing snake is the length. The longer the better because of the reach. In my case it was enough because of bendability, design, and speed. . The fact that it comes with reusable gloves is great. You will need them . This isn't a clean job but you will be satisfied with the equipment because of how easy it was to use and the results. No matter the hair catching system you have, it doesn't catch everything but this tool does. You can also use disposable gloves but remember you are dealing with a metal snake so make sure they are like plumbing gloves.

Save Your Money
I expected the Drainsoon 25 ft drain auger to be a handy drain-cleaning tool, but instead I found it deeply disappointing. Within minutes of use, the cable stopped feeding or retracting properly—seemingly detached inside the housing—and fixing it meant stripping the drum apart and wrestling tangled wire for over an hour. Now it’s essentially unusable—I can’t rely on the handle, and storage has become a mess. The cable material feels flimsy, bending or twisting under minimal pressure, especially when trying to reach deeper clogs. It struggled to navigate tight bends or narrow openings, making it nearly impossible to push past typical p‑traps in kitchen or shower drains. Some users on forums confirmed that it often fails in real-world scenarios—twisting around itself rather than advancing, or refusing to go deeper than a few feet. The included gloves are one-size-fits-all and rarely fit smaller or larger hands comfortably. They slip off easily or feel awkward during use. Overall, while the price is tempting, the tool feels under-built and unreliable. If you're dealing with a simple clog, a cheap plastic tool might even outperform this auger. For anything serious—or to avoid wasting time—it’s better to skip this model and consider renting a better-quality snake or calling a plumber instead.

No support website from manufacturer.
The product worked one time but our bathtub got clogged again soon and at the second use the cable got stuck inside and the tip bended. We tried to contact support but it reports a 404 not found

Amazing product and very reasonable price
This product worked great. I tried everything from Drano to plastic snakes to baking soda and vinegar combination and nothing worked. The clog in our shower drain was very hard and deep about 10 to 12 feet deep in the pipes. This product did the job. It was a little tricky in the beginning, but after a little bit of persistence and following instructions, I was able to get a whole big blog of gunk out in about 15 minutes. The picture only shows half of it. The other half was wrapped up in paper towels that I pulled out from the auger. Definitely recommend this product.

Easy and effective
Worked to clear my drain from a goop-tackular blob of hair with little effort on my part. I needed to remove the p trap, which is not difficult. The issue was in the wall, not the p trap. I was under the mistaken impression that the turning motion of this would also move the end of the auger closer or farther from me. The twisting motion is to get a hold of the hair clog, not move the line in any direction. To pull the clog out after turning it a bit, you just gently pull it towards you, the blob will come with the it and you can easily remove it. Repeat if necessary. Have a bucket on hand to catch the blob. The auger will go back into the casing to store for your next blob adventure, but you do want to wipe it off first. SO EASY!!!

I don't write many reviews, but this product worked extremely well. We had a kitchen sink clog that was deep down the pipe, so the little drainers you see when you search for a sink snake would not have worked. It pulled out a massive clump including a popsicle stick. There have been some comments on the need to tighten the clamp, but that's just how it works. You loosen, extend until you hit a clump, tighten and then turn the handle. This sometimes loosens the clog, but you need to extend further and do it again (so need to loosen the clamp, extend, re-tighten, etc). Anyway, great tool and save me a plumber.

After having a clogged kitchen sink for about a week and finding out our plumber wasn't going to be able to come by for at least another week, I decided to spend the money and try this solution. I was skeptical that this wouldn't work, considering the price was pretty low - $32 compared to the price of a plumber seemed too good to be true. I am SO GLAD I went for it. It came within 24 hours and was so easy to use. We had taken apart the drain under the kitchen sink so we knew the blockage was further down than the U pipe under the counter. It takes a little patience while "feeling" around as you feed the auger into the pipe. It is MUCH easier to use with two people, but you can definitely do it solo. Have a bucket ready underneath the drain because chances are you're going to pull out something that smells like the epitome of death. The mass of hair and trash inside the pipe that popped out had such a foul odor it gave us goosebumps. This tool is a life saver, and I can't believe a simpleton like me can purchase and successfully use a product like this. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great DIY solution for a simple problem, and the product is quite substantial in quality.

This is a functional product even though while winding it up the first time the plastic housing broke. It still works fine though

Simple and basic tool to clean out the clogged pipes. It can be pushed in all it’s length. Only don’t let the end go in. You will have to pull-push the cable numerous times to flush out the fat gunk clogged in the pipe. Longer time the better. It is a mini workout I must say. My kitchen sink pipe is finally clean and water is flowing with no clogging anymore. The gloves are nice too and was helpful with handling the dirty gunk stuck on the cable. Satisfied with the auger 👍.
