Does anyone have an issue with the primary button not working?

I have used this Perimice 519L mouse for 12 mos, 5 hrs a day, without a problem with any buttons. Since I like it I also bought a spare after 9 mos, because I know it wont last forever (I've dropped it 3 or 4 times) and it is the smallest left hand vertical mice I could find. I tested the spare, and found no problems with any buttons either. Do you have wired or wireless? The wireless does have a sleep mode where you must make an extra click to reconnect the signal.

does this come with a wired option? tnx

The wired option will be released in January 2021.

Mouse wheel scrolling stutters, sometimes going in the wrong direction on all programmes (Windows 10), is there a fix for this?

Mine works well. But here are some solutions. First make sure your scroll sensor is clean, eg dust/hair/etc. Second, go to Control Panel and click Change Mouse Wheel Settings, then turn off Accelerate Vertical Scrolling and Flip Scrolling behavior. If you don't have these options, which I assume you don't, since you're using W 10, then try adjusting Vertical and Horizontal scrolling as well as "one screen at a time". See if these helps. Otherwise contact Perixx which is the company that manufactures these mouses.

I bought one of these in sept. and it appears to suck batteries. a very fresh enegizer aa lasts a week - is this normal?

That is not normal, and we suggest you test it on the 2nd computer to see if you will have the same probelm. The mouse should last around several weeks or months depends on your usage.
