Replacement Black Polyurethane Link Bracelet Band 22mm for Luminox 3000 and 3900 Series Watches

Edit.. 6/2019.. 6 years later.. It's still going strong on my every-day-worn Luminox 3001! Over time the 3001 and this band morphed into my 100% "Around the house" watch, including doing dirty yard work, building paver patios and retaining walls, oil changes, fix this, fix that and on and on.. that watch and this band have been through it all. The 2013 band has been caught on things a few times, not super hard, but enough that it would have hurt a bit if it were a steel bracelet, and it has not pulled apart. So the other day I bought another one just-in-case.. the old one is fine, but.. ya know, its 6 years old. I planned on putting the new one on the old 3001.. then I bought a Apple watch 4, 44mm, GPS/Cellular in silver, I also bought a set of those little black 22mm Apple watch standard link adapters. Its lightweight and wont scratch-to-silver like a black stainless band will. After 6 years of trusty wear with my first band, I gave the new one a few firm tugs to make sure of no weakness and hung my $500 Apple on it. So there. If you want a very.. very.. comfortable black bracelet that will last and look good doing it, this is the one for you. It's simply perfect for lightweight black composite traditional watches, as well as a awesome match for Apples and the like. (It beats the poo out of sweaty, stiff, cracking, nasty rubber straps) I was slow to warm up to my Luminox 3001, it took me 2 months to start wearing it, and only then just around the house. This bracelet has transformed my watch into one I really like. I was concerned this linked type would not stretch at all, putting too much pressure on the holes in the polycarbonate watch case when my wrist is bent back, but it does stretch a little! Its not at all soft/mushy like rubber, but its not hard like metal either. It conforms the wrist better and rubber and requires no break-in. I greatly prefer this clasp to the buckle types. I'm not having any trouble with the pins loosening, I tightened them before installing. This bracelet "breathes" better than rubber, it causes far less sweating than my original. So far I really like this bracelet and highly recommend it. Caution... This band on a nice poly watch can ruin you for higher quality watches. I have a few nice stainless watches that I've been happily wearing for many years, now they sometimes they feel annoyingly heavy and uncomfortable.

I, like many here, purchased this band for my Pebble smartwatch. To me, it is the perfect compliment to the watch. Elegant in the engineering sense... Simple, understated, and functional. As others noted, it requires two jeweller's flathead screwdrivers to remove/install the screw-type link pins. An extra hand helps as well to hold the watch, or you can do what I did, and tape it down to your work surface with masking tape (make sure you put some kind of pad under your Pebble to prevent scratches!). A bit of trimming is required where the band inserts into the watch (you'll see where to trim when you try installing it)... about 1/8" taken off each side will do. Quick work with a razor blade. Haven't worn the new band out in the world yet, so I cannot comment on the screw-type pins staying put. However, at my earliest convenience, I plan on removing all the screw-type pins, and reinstalling them with a tiny dab of blue LocTite on the threads to prevent their coming loose. All in all, I am quite happy with this purchase.

Bought this to replace the basic and size limited band that came with the pebble. I read in reviews that the band would need slight altering to fit the pebble and so I was prepared with a xacto knife to cut away the necessary parts. It took about 10 minutes to carefully cut away the sides of the links that connect to the pebble and once I was done the band fit perfectly. I'm sure the same modification could be done more safely with some sand paper. The band looks and feels great. It has a light plastic but rubbery feel and nature to it. I guess I could see how some of the 1star reviewers felt this was "cheap plastic" feel but for me it looks to be sturdy while remaining very light weight. It is a very comfortable band and doesn't seem like it would break under normal stress or wear and tear. It is the perfect accent to the pebble watch and the sizing options offer a lot more than the stock band which fit either too loose or too tight on my wrist. If batman needed a watch band, it would probably look like this. I could only give this watch band 4stars because there are some issues that I have with it. Adding and removing links proved to be a major pain in the butt by myself. Trying to use two small flat head screwdrivers to unscrew the pins whilst holding the band was difficult and frustrating. I ended up getting someone to help me which made the task fairly easy. Also, dealing with screws has me worried about these pins getting loose and unscrewing over time. I am considering adding a bit of loctite to all of the links I don't plan on ever removing and tightening down the ones I do. I haven't lost a pin yet but I believe this to be a valid concern. Other than that I think it's a great band and with a little modification, greatly complements the pebble. I didn't deduct a star for the price although I do think $32 is a bit much to ask. I think while $20 is still high, it would be the sweet spot for this band and I would have no hesitation buying more for my other watches. I can easily recommend this watch to anyone interested or looking for a replacement for the pebble band. I will come back to add to this review should I find it does not pass the test of time.

I got this band to replace the factory band on my luminox 3083. I kept having issues with the end of the factory band pulling loose, plus it just looked cheap compared to the watch. Well worth the upgrade. This band is much more secure and has a classier look. It looks like a nice steel band you'd expect on a dressier watch, but it's still lightweight and matches the case of the luminox. Each link of the band is held in place with a small screw, which I prefer to the springloaded pins (those always seem to launch away from me never to be seen again). Takes more tools to disassemble than pins I guess, but that wasn't an issue for me. Some reviewers complained about the screws working themselves loose...I haven't had this issue, but I would imagine that if you were worried about it, you could put a drop of loctite on the screws before reassembling the band back together.

I bought this to replace the leather band that comes with the Asus Zenwatch (an Android Wear smartwatch). I mostly plan on using my watch for exercise, so the leather one wasn't appropriate (even though it looks snazzy). This one fits great. I had to remove a few links to fit my wrists (never easy, and requires 2 tiny screwdrivers turning opposite ways). Also, this doesn't come with the necessary pins so I had to go over to Sears to have them help me. It's light weight, securely fastens and looks pretty good. I'm very happy with it.

I have a sort of love/hate relationship with this watch band. I got this to replace the watch band for my Samsung Gear 2 Neo smartwatch, mainly because I wanted a black band that wasn't metal so it would match the watch body better. For the most part this has satisfied that need, albeit with a high cost and average results for functionality with durability being the only question considering I've only had this for a couple of days. Let's start with what works with the band. For most the main reason for replacing a watch band would be the looks and this watch band does look great, maybe even better than the pictures make it appear. It's unique design gives it a almost classy, but futuristic look. In terms of the Gear 2 Neo it looks as if it was almost made to be a replacement band for it. The way the matte black matches the watch face is almost uncanny, it's likely the best looking watch band for the Neo in my opinion. It also comes with screws on the sides for the links for easy removal so you can size it yourself. It's pretty lightweight too making it comfortable and easy on the wrist. Now on to what doesn't work. First of all the price, it's excessively high compared to most replacements. Especially when you take into consideration that silicon costs almost twice as much as polyurethane yet most silicone bands I've found is less than a third the price of this band. If it wasn't for the fact that I could find nothing that looks like it I wouldn't have bought it. I'm not sure if that design is driving the price or the screw links but it seems high to me. Speaking of the exposed screws, I could do without them. They seem to take away from the futuristic look of the band face while the silver interrupts the sleek matte look of the band. Plus despite being fairly easy to remove it's quite difficult to screw together yourself. I had to have help the first couple of times, and even after practice doing it myself was problematic at best (You'll need two small flathead screwdrivers to hold one screw in place while you screw its opposite end.) All in all I'm happy with the band despite the high cost, but ideally I would've been happier if this was $20 or even $25. It looks fantastic but I could do without the screws, I'd gladly trade in the ability to size it myself for smaller, traditional link pins. As far as the durability goes, only time will tell but so far it's held its own against water and soap. Being lightweight also means a thinner build on the stainless steel clasp. I've seen clasps like these lose their grip and either dangle or even worse open easily on it's own. Hopefully this doesn't do that over time, and if it does I will probably knock one star or even more off the review. Looks doesn't matter if the band doesn't last. (On a side note this doesn't come with pins if you were wondering, so if you're using it for the Gear 2 Neo like me you will need to buy the appropriate spring pins. But do NOT buy the kit that is "recommended" with this purchase. The pins in that kit will not work with the Samsung watches.)

Fits without modification on a Pebble Time 2. Looks and works great. Matches the black color perfectly. Quality material and moderately straightforward to install with a spring bar tool.

This fits my Pebble Time perfectly. I'll summarize pros and cons here: Pros: - Unless you're up close, it looks like a metal strap, but the black doesn't wear away like the finish on a metal one would. - The light weight is really nice, if you like that (I do). If you like the more "solid" feel of a heavier watch, be warned. - The recesses around the main 22mm pins on the inside of the strap make it quite easy to compress the pins to attach and detach the strap. - The latch has been holding up for me just fine in the 2 months or so I've had it. I've seen some people complain about it being flimsy, and I guess time will tell, but so far so good. - It comes with plenty of links to fit around some pretty big wrists. If you have anything near normal sized wrists, you'll have to take several links out. And then you have spares. Cons: - The screws on each link for taking links out are extremely hard to work with. You need one screwdriver on each side, and all the screwdrivers I have that are small enough are hard to get enough grip on. It's really a 2-person job. It's quite annoying, actually. This is the reason for a 4 rather than 5 star review. - I'm not a big fan of the silver clasp. I wish it were black to match the rest. But I suppose that comes back to the issue with the finish scraping off, and I guess a non-scratched silver finish is better than a scratched-up black finish. All in all, this is a very nice strap, that made my not-very-classy Pebble Time smartwatch look a lot better. I'd recommend it to anyone, with the one caveat of how hard it is to remove links.
