**Q: Does this sensor work with oils applications? Or just coolant**
A: This kit is a universal item designed to work with coolant, but can work with other fluids if necessary. This kit has been adapted to other custom applications for fan-cooled setups like transmission coolers and power steering coolers with no issues.

**Q: Does the kit come with Both the 1/8 inch Npt sensor and the Proble style sensor or just one ?**
A: Nope, it just comes with the probe, with which I have no experience. I got the npt sensor, but because of the super fine threading it didnt fit in my chevrolet's temp sensor holes in the cyl heads. So I got the inline adapter mishimoto offers. Personally I've got more confidence in that design's accuracy. all that's needed is removal of a small, straight section of the coolant hose going from the radiator to the thermostat housing. Think you need like a 5" straight section that you remove an inch and a half from (thats a guess based on memory.) Anyways, good luck to you

**Q: Why is there no fuse or circuit breaker in between the battery and fan**
A: There was a fuse (I believe 30A) that came with mine and was placed between the battery and the controller

**Q: I have a 2000 mustang gt, which style do i need? i am guessing npt?**
A: It is up to you how do you want to use it, probe-style temperature sensor gets attached to the radiator and a 1/8-inch NPT thread-in sensor gets installed to a threaded hole in a fitting or an adapter, the probe it may be easier if you can push it in the radiator fins near water inlet, good lock with that,

Been running in Arizona on a 20amp single fan and its performed 100% accurately. Its dead band and set on is always spot on. Make sure a few things people. A. Mount it in a high and dry place... This is the first cause of these things to fail! B. Mount it near the fuse panel where its not being subjected to heat over 150 constantly. This is the 2nd thing to cause failures. Follow those two rules and itll never die.
