Great EDC good feeling and quality.
Good night built well seems of good quality easy to use sharp. The size is right for EDC recommended. I would buy it again. The price is right, especially if you were to lose it if you have more expensive knives and don’t wanna risk beating them up this is a great option.

Great for the price!
This was an add-on item to get free same day shipping. At the price point I didn't have any expectations for quality, just figured I could use a knife to keep in my car. I was shocked at how good this little knife actually is! For $26 this is a great little carry. The assisted open is easy to deploy and but very strong, and the frame lock feels good and disengages easily. Sharpness is decent and the overall function of the knife is great. At this price point, I think this is an exceptional knife!

Checks all of the boxes for me, the perfect EDC knife
I've spent hundreds of dollars over the past few years looking for the perfect EDC knife for me. I think I've finally found it. I've owned multiple Kershaws, a handful of Civivis, a couple benchmades etc. After all of that, this relatively cheap Kershaw finally checks all of the boxes. The knife is small, but not mini. It sits very nice in my pocket, it's no more intrusive than even tiny knives like the chive or ember. The pocket clip holds it very securely. It opens with a very satisfying and quick action, and the flipper and frame lock combo allows for very easy one handed operation. It is very easy to open, but not so easy that it might spring open unintentionally like my chive always did. The blade shape is great, it will be easy to sharpen, and is pointy enough to dig at things without being a needle. Zero play in the blade, it feels super solid. The flipper becomes a guard when opened to help ensure your hand can't slip onto the blade. All in all, it's the best form-factor of any EDC type knife I've owned. It's blade may not be super-steel, but between the ease of sharpening and the low price point I'm not super concerned about it. I have a $150 benchmade that holds an edge forever, but certain things about the form factor just never clicked with me. For the price of this kershaw, I can buy 6 of them before I've spent the same on that one benchmade. If I accidentally leave it behind on a jobsite I won't have a heart-attack, I'll just order another one!

Great Knife, Makes a Nice Gift
The Kershaw Misdirect is a great pocket knife, especially for the price. It feels solid, looks sharp, and has smooth action. It makes a really nice present for someone who appreciates a practical and well-made knife. Very happy with the purchase overall.

My new favorite Kershaw
I've got a bunch of 3 inch folding pocketknives, including a handful of Chinese Kershaws, like this one. This Misdirect really nails the slim daily EDC knife--small enough to disappear in your pocket (deep clip is set up for tip-up carry, but it is reversible, if you are a lefty or prefer tip-down carry), good QC (well-centered blade, good finish, absence of tool marks/imperfections, good positive hinge movement, easily manipulated, sharp edge). The blade profile is good, too--kind've a modified Tanto blade, with a sharp pointy tip that'll efficiently poke through stuff, with still enough meat on the bone to feel stable, plenty of metal there to sharpen. Good stuff. The 4Cr14 blade metal isn't gonna blow your skirt up--its why this knife can be so cheap. For the price, though, the 4Cr14 is fine, should sharpen pretty easily, but is softer than premium blade steel. Do your own research. It does have a handsome "black oxide blackwash" finish that I've seen on some other cheap Kershaws that seems pretty durable. Like all finishes like this, you'll have to chance marring this finish when you sharpen it, but that's life, right? For the price, Chinese Kershaws are pretty tough to beat, and I think this guy is no exception. It still comes with Kershaw's excellent warranty, so if you get a lousy one, just send it back to Kershaw for a new one. If you simply can't buy a non-American Kershaw, no problem--keep looking, you'll find a domestically-produced Kershaw, you'll just spend more. Recommended.
