Alignment Pins Are Off
I ordered this item because the emblem I have on the trunk started peeling. The item is the correct size, but the alignment pins on the back do not match the holes in the car. The seller offered me to either try to remove the pins and align the emblem without them or to ship the item back for a refund. I didn't want to remove the pins and align it by sight, since I was dealing with some really sticky 3M on the back, and I figured it might wind up crooked. The shipping back to Korea would have cost me more than I spent on the item, so it wasn't worth it. Depending on the year of your car (I have a 2010), believe it on not, this item can be warrantied by your dealer. I went to Kia to find out how much they would charge for the correct emblem and was told that it's a warranty item and will be replaced at no charge, I just have to bring the old peeling emblem with me. If you are having the same issue, I would suggest running it by the dealer first, before purchasing this item and having to modify it to fit.

Just what I was looking for!
My black background on my original back plate for my KIA Soul had all peeled away. I thought it detracted the appearance on the car. Replaced with this one and it looks great! Easy to install

Great replacement! 3M self adhesive worked very well!
This is listed to fit a 2010 Kia Forte Koup but when I got it, I found that the posts on the back of this emblem are not in the same location as the original emblem that I had removed from my car because it's paint was peeling. This was a minor inconvenience to me but could possibly be a major problem for others. I just centered the emblem so the posts would make two marks on the trunk and then drilled corresponding holes. Some folks may not want to drill holes in their car trunk! I figured it would be that big of a deal since they will be under the emblem and the emblem sealed very well with the 3M self adhesive background. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and the price was certainly worth it!
