I've had it working for many weeks, and over 6,000 reads with no problems. I tried another cheaper brand first which failed miserably - lost it's memory and had to be reset multiple times, the setup was horky requiring perfect timing for a code passing. The HID had a built in web browser you log into and configure it for exactly what you want. Very precise.
