Fresh, Tasty, and Different
I get these on subscription now because they’re always fresh and taste great. They’re not like the regular American pistachios you get at the grocery store — the flavor is richer and the texture feels a bit firmer. Light salt is just right, so you taste the nut more than the salt. Roasted just right. Bag seals so you can keep them fresh longer. Good quality, good price for what you get. Easy snack to keep around the house.

Rediscover the enticing and addictive pistachio flavor you had as a child.
Excellent. Excellent. Excellent! Bursting with flavor, these Antep Pistachios qualify as an exceptionally nourishing and magnificent taste experience. Though slightly larger in size, no California pistachio can come close to the dynamic flavor range packed into each Antep nut, by the ancestral trees growing in Antep, Turkey. The slightly opened nuts, arrive with just the right touch of salt to enhance the delicate nuanced flavors that emerge from these exotic Turkish treasures. The nuts are delivered promptly; fresh and irresistible. You'll have the urge to share them, but you may end up hoarding them all to yourself, so that you can savor every last one. As with any nut, try not to eat more than one or two handfuls of them at any one sitting, if you can control your appetite for these gems of the nut world.

Pricing is out of control
I LOVE these pistachios. Customers who say they are over roasted or burnt have no clue what they are talking about. Too many of them are not cracked open. But they taste great. The reason why I’m giving just one star is because the price has doubled in the last few years. Bring it back down to a more reasonable number and I’ll happily buy again. But until then, I’m staying away on principle.

Not from California (and that's good)
I grew up on Zenobia pistachios back when they were always dyed red - years ago I bough some Zenobias and was disappointed, later to find out that they were grown in California. California pistachios tend to be very big and easy to open, but that's it. The imported pistachios are smaller and a bit more work, but they're worth the extra effort.

Better than the fake neon green ones
Update: ordered another bag they were so great! Updated: 6/17/2017 I'm ordering yet another 5lb bag. These are much loved in our household. You will notice these pistachios are brown: like pistachios are supposed to be. They are not dyed dayglo lime green. You will also notice these taste like those red painted pistachios from Iran we used to be able to buy in the US three or four decades ago. These are Turkish and very good. The lime green ones in the stores and TV commercials are a weak derivative of the Iranian ones but suffer from being grown in a different climate (California not Iran) and they are processed and packed with salt. Those nuts are basically gas station and vending machine style junk food. Salt and fake visuals vs being real. THESE pistachios are great. They're actual food, and my family considers them a delicacy. I'm glad I can find these online, because around Detroit it's just those bland (and then way over-salted to cover up) neon green ones in tiny black bags that are ten bucks each. I'm not a food snob. I pound RedBull all day long-and even I can tell the difference. Subtle nut FLAVOR vs mega salt. These showed up in like 2 days too. Still not convinced? Give someone a bag of those lime green fake pistachios as a gift and they'll think you're insane, "what, was the vending machine out of Snickers?" Give someone a bag of these and you'll probably get texts asking where they can get more! [yes, the recipient of one of the many bags I've purchased here asked where they could get more; the rest of the bags I kept for myself]. -mike from detroit

They see this post
I have been very disappointed lately. I buy these often and the taste has changed. I find them harder to open and barely salted. Not worth the $100 I spend on them anymore.
