Do u have to remove the handle part to fit to hood bosch 5325?

Our Bosch extracted as a metal grill covering the filter. Released by a sliding catch. Removing this grill the filter was easy to replace, just slotting in, then replacing the grill.

What are the exact dimensions of the filter? Or is the “package dimension” referring to the filter?

23 cm x 21.5 cm Although it is labelled as a Bosch replacement it fits my Siemens cooker hood perfectly
