Southern Style Nuts Cheesy Cheddar Hunter Bulk Trail Mix, 20 oz

I ordered this snack mix in both the Cheese and Honey Nut flavors and they’re both really good. I prefer the Honey Nut because as other reviews have mentioned the Cheese flavor is excessively salty. The container is smaller than expected but the mix is very dense and filling compared to the Chex Mix I was buying before which is mostly air and made with much cheaper ingredients. I will continue to buy this brand on Subscribe & Save.

Nothing like fresh southern style cheesy nuts to put a smile on your face! These taste is amazing! Just if you get headaches easily due to a lot of salt you can’t sit there and eat the whole thing like l want to do! Definitely love the taste and will buy again!

This was a gift for a snickers. She didn't complain so I imagine she liked them.

This mix had the potential to be really tasty and different from other trail mixes. Instead, it's mostly sesame sticks, corn sticks, a few peanuts, and an occasional almond (haven't seen a cashew yet). And, as much as I love salty things, the salt level on these is overpowering: you can't taste cheese at all; only salt (and I've never complained about salted products before, until now). I paid a lot less for this product that others mention: it was $10.19, and is now slightly less than that. The expiration date is May 2021, so the mix is fresh and crunchy. Because of the salt, you can't eat much in a sitting, which is probably a good thing, but if you're expecting a sweet and savory nutty mix as the item description mentions, it's neither nutty nor sweet at all. I gave this 3 stars because it's not bad: it's just not good. I wouldn't buy this again nor would I recommend it to anyone UNLESS you're looking for a cracker mix covered in what tastes like the cheese packet from a cheap box of mac and cheese.

I really enjoyed the "gourmet" flavor but a recall with no refund offered and product discontinued. The honey roast is good but sweet, more of a dessert than snack. Tried the cheddar flavor next. First off does not take cheesy, only tastes salty and boy is it salty

I tried the trail mix at my sibling's house but couldn't find it on Amazon. Decided to give this a try. Omg it is so so salty and some "crisps" were going stale. It is still pricey even when on sale. I'm better off going to SCOOPS and making my own cheddar mix

Roasted Honey Hunter Mix was so good. And when it wasn't available here or online anymore, I decided to try these Cheesy Cheddar ones. BIG mistake. The nuts and sticks were covered thickly in this cheese powder that's waaay too salty, and the cheddar flavor was not even nice. Waste money buying 2 bottles and totally regret. They were extremely expensive. Definitely do not recommend.
