Just like advertised. It's a foggy kind of grey, wonderful for drawing or writing. i wouldn't be sad if it dried faster, faster is definitely better when writing. It will smear if you aren't patient enough, and I can't claim that I always am.

What a perfect grey for the urban sketching I do! Just loaded it into my Fude fountain pen and it’s ready for its first adventure. Document inks are guaranteed to remain permanent on the page which is important because I always add watercolor. Thanks for a great product!

very nice ink, a bit warmer than I expected, but works well. I use it for sketching. Could be just me, but seems to be wetter than other colors of the line. Works well in my fude nib pen.

Beautiful water resistant gray

This is a great waterproof ink for sketching and watercolor. Works great in a fude fountain pen, and is not as harsh as black ink- perfect for nature journaling and urban sketching. Seller packaged the ink well and I received it quickly.

This was a fantastic sketch ink from the get go. I'm so excited to have it in my sketching kit! It's waterproof when it is allowed to dry completely.

So I have only tried this ink a few times with my watercolors and it holds up well. I really like the color, may not live long enught to see if it lasts 50 years!
