This company is EXCELLENT!!!! I cannot sing their praises enough!! Customer service is a BREEZE !and their tools are POWERFUL and get the job done! I have gotten some good deals, GREAT Customer support and service, and great life and use out of the many WORX gardening tools I have and use (i.e. Lawnmower, blower, trimmer, etc). Now, I will get a shearer for some extra plants I have now. This trimmer is SO VERSATILE! It just is great as BOTH an edger and as trimmer (Weed hacker). My grass is SUPER THICK, and I have so much to edge (due to a lot of Stones and paths). With this trimmer, ..thanks to its versatility in switching from trimmer to edger and back again... I get it done MUCH FASTER (unlike the Black and Decker that I used to have...which would Hhhhm and Haaww...and was harder to work with, not to mention was almost twice as heavy) this lightweight thing gets to WORK and it WORX!!!!....chopping through thick weeds like a butter knife! I feel like a Garden Ninja, almost using the trimmer. Easy and powerful. The Price is GREAT! You are not getting overcharged and get a quality powerful product. It's a USA company and the customer support is GREAT and COMMUNICATION excellent for all the tools that I've order so far. I have several batteries that are ALL interchangeable and swap out, they charge very quick especially if you buy a Quick charger. the 40V batteries last so long, I don't need to recharge it if I'm doing front yard and backyard of a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom house. So I love the Quick charger, sometimes when the Battery does run out when I'm using it on the other tools (blower to get the leaves out during the fall). Been using Worx since summer 2020 and no complaints and have gotten a nice set of tools!

This is both a string trimmer, an edger, and a small mower for tight places or small areas of grass and runs using Worx 20-volt batteries. I have several other Worx products that use the same batteries, including a lawn mower, a small chain saw, and even a travel refrigerator. Surprisingly high quality for the price and combines 3 tools in 1. The 20-volt batteries provide plenty of power and last a long time before needing to be recharged. I have several batteries and always have one charged to replace when one dies. I bought another set for my summer home so that I can leave one at my Florida winter home.

This is the second one I have purchased this one is way more versatile than the older model.

Ive used the worxs trimmer for at least 5 years (Model WG 155). When it finally gave out I purchased another immediately. Fair price but my model was no longer available. So I purchased a new one (WG 170.9) and while it works great and has an extendable shaft, which is great for my tall self, the redesigned models wheels are significantly more fragile. Wheels are now removable and attached to the body by sliding them onto a frail plastic piece. They are secure once in place but after one use the wheels broke off the body. Now Im a virgo and take great care with my stuff. I only placed the wheels down on the ground and the wheel support snapped off the body so they couldnt be put back. The original model had wheels securely attached and not removable and worked great. No problem replacing unit thru Amazon and will not even use wheels with new unless necessary and very very very gingerly. Thinking the mfgr has to redesign this again better and bolder. other than that, I absolutely love this item. batteries last long time and unit is powerful. thank you worx

Hear me out - must have item for gardening tools! As a female I wanted something that was lightweight and easy to use and this is it!

This is my second one. The first one lasted over five years. It’s the only one I found that does not hurt my neck and shoulders and is so lightweight that I can hold onto it for quite some time. It works fantastic. I love this line of products. In fact I just ordered the pruning shears and I can’t wait to try those.

I had the previous model, which I already loved but it broke down on me after 10 years (suddenly quit working but it wasn't the battery nor a loose wire - I checked). So since I loved it, I ordered another one to replace it and it turned out to be a newer model of it with some changes of which I liked some and disliked others. A plus is the spool holder (not really a big deal) but it also seems to have a better string release (I haven't quite figured out the push button release but somehow it seems to work better than the old one). Another plus is the extension rate of the handle which now makes it longer and easier to use for a tall guy. A minus, in my opinion, is the handle release button which was easier (one handed) to access at the previous model and now kinda takes both hands to unfold. Same applies to the actual mower head tilt, which now has a lock and unlock button which I'm not sure why it does, it was just a matter of stepping in it and tilt to your desired angle. The wheels also seem to a bit bulkier than previous s model. Overall a very food tool, very light and easy to use, clean and store and for that price and longevity definitely worth the money.

I have given it 5 stars as it is the bees knees. BUT. Ensure when purchasing a - one battery fits all - that it is for the U.K. market. Apparently the one I received within a couple of days was for the US. The battery is a larger size fitting. Lovely bit of kit though. I had to send it back and reorder the U.K. one.

This is one of many Worx cordless tools I own, and like the others it performs exceptionally well. How can it be improved? One suggestion: In the mower function the short wheelbase causes the head to wobble over rougher ground, especially when you try to use it with one hand. Worx should make the wheelbase expandable with a pullout button for use as a mower. This would greatly enhance the already excellent ease of use of the trimmer.
