best upgrade, No more pulling an anchor up
This windlass works as advertised, no more running to the bow to drop anchor, no stress , no fuss. Install was easy. Great upgrade.

Best price on the internet is an understatement. Windless is perfect for a smaller sized boat.

Waited almost 5 years to review.. works perfect
I have a 28½ ft boat Was at the upper limit of feet per gauge ratio.. so I upped wire gauge higher than recommended by one gauge, and used silver tined (ant-icorrode)copper wearing.. This thing has worked perfect for a 28½ft 5000lbs boat. One of the keys to a long-lasting windless is tie your anchor line off after you've dropped the anchor. do not let the line tug at the windlass morter.. ever!

Work well but don’t try install one yourself it has to be perfect to work right.

Great Windless
Rock solid Windless. I've been using this model for over a decade, on several boats and it is worth every penny. Makes anchoring a breeze. Make sure to get the bow up/down remote buttons for lowering and raising the anchor from the bow. Install is straight forward and not overly difficult but take your time and use the proper cabling. You wont find a better Windless for the money, Period.

modify boat
Had to modify my bow-spirit to make this winch work, didn't want to have higher profile winch. Dry tested, it works fine so far.

Very nice unit, get one you will be glad you did.
This was the first time, I ever owned a windless. Always had to pull anchor by hand. A lot older now this is going to be sweet to use. Done a lot of research on this item and really wanted this one and have already installed it on my boat. Can not wait to use it for the first time. Exactly as described, instructions very clear and helpful. Had to call customer service, and was pleased with the fast answer. Wasn't anything wrong with the item, it was my misunderstanding of one of the wires in the diagram of the wiring.

Great product
Just installed it but all tests show this product to be very good and looks great on the boat. I will know more next summer when I anchor down for weekend camp outs on the boat.
