KINYO KV-822 2-Way 8mm Rewinder

Rewinds and fast forwards very fast. Not as loud as described in other reviews. No tape damages after about 30 or so tapes fast forwarded and rewound. Very happy with purchase.

Haven't used it as much as I thought I would. But it does work. Plastic construction concerns me regarding durability but I don't know how well it will actually wear.

This rewinder lasted maybe 4 rewind cycles before it stopped working. I opened the unit to repair it and discovered that all the internal gears / sprockets were made of cheap plastic with very loose tolerances causing the gears to jump out of track during operation. Once during a rewind it chewed up a section of tape. Lucky for me I only had a few cassettes to rewind and I was able to transfer the video from the damaged section. I wish I could say I got what I paid for with this product, but the quality is so poor that I can't even make that claim. I do not recommend this product.

Very good product. Arrived and now functions as expected. I used batteries instead of AC power since the adapter is in 120V, but I am using it in another country.

Works great, fast rewind, saves wear and tear on camcorder. Its light portable and very easy to use, I'm glad to have one.

Does not work, and cassettes do not fit easily, does not forward or reverse....junk!

Will not order anything from seller in the future
