Almay Deodorant for Women, Gel Antiperspirant, Hypoallergenic, Dermatologist Tested for Sensitive Skin, Fragrance Free, 2.25 Oz

I just did an allergy patch test and found I'm allergic to a list of things, most notably fragrances. I did a product overhaul, and my favorite degree deodorant had to go. I didn't expect much from a fragrance free deodorant, especially since it's essentially just a clear, odorless gel. I've been very pleasantly surprised! ZERO IRRITATION, even after shaving. I thought the red itchy bumps were normal. Now they're gone. A couple of things: it does take awhile to dry, which isn't the best feeling, your pits are gooey for an hour or so. And it's winter, so I haven't seen how it holds up to serious sweat yet. But on a normal day to day basis, I have zero sweat, zero odor, and zero irritation. I'm sold!

This is my go-to because it dries quickly, smells good (I usually buy the Powder scent) and it works. The price is very good - cheaper than my grocery store and way cheaper than the pharmacy stores. Definitely recommend.

I had a really bad eczema flare up and my skin is extremely sensitive, this product works extremely well. Absolutely Love, just wish it came in a larger size.

I am a VERY SWEATY person. When I was a teen I tried many many different anti persperant/deodarant combos for both men & women and either they left me stinky with no sweat or left me sweaty with no stink. I eventually got frustrated and just settled for a deodarant brand that rhymes with cold dice. Cold dice gave me a perpetual rash in my arm pits (again I was frustrated and over it so I just tolerated it) and made me smell AMAZING but I was SOOOO sweaty all the time and leaving out stains in all of my clothes. After probably a decade of settling for Cold Dice I decided to revisit my fight with the antiperspirant/deodarant industry and try something new!! That something new was (thankfully) this product. Within a few days of using it the eternal rash I had gotten from Cold Dice had completely disappeared, with just some slight skin discoloration in it's place (probably from me having it for so long) that will fade with time (and if it doesn't there are skin care products I can use to help it but I'm letting my armpits chill before doing that). I am NOT stinky at all with this on and can even go 48 hours on one application before stink happens (I'm a full time STEM major and working!! Sometimes showers are not priority *insert crying face here*). This is unscented so I just kinda don't smell like anything which I am enjoying??? The Cold Dice smell had some delightful scents but they got overwhelming after a while. It is AMAZING as an anti persperant. No more pit stains, no more scrubbing the armpits of my clothes with stain remover!! At the most I just get very very very slightly moist. Not in a way that's uncomfortable or permeates my clothes at all. A drastic contrast from the drenching I was getting while using Cold Dice. I also only use the smallest amount. Just enough to feel a wet all over my armpit when I initially apply. I then keep my shirt off for as long as I can to allow maximum time for it to dry and settle in. This is an invisible gel so you CAN put your shirt on after application instead of before!!! No worry about accidentally getting marks on the shirt!! On Cold Dice I had to put a ton on to get that deodarant effect. Five stars!!! I wish I could give more. I'll be using this as long as they're making it. Again as an extremely sweaty person with equally extremely sensitive skin I am OVER THE MOON for this.

My entire life I was using a deodorant/antiperspirant that worked for me and if I tried anything else I would immediately get a reaction. I was using it for 12 years at least and suddenly started getting a reaction. I don't know if the formula changed or if my skin can't tolerate it anymore... So yes, I began a search for a new deodorant/antiperspirant. Not fun or an easy task for anyone with sensitive skin. I tried many labeled and touted for "sensitive skin" but unfortunately each failed for my sensitive skin. This item contains Aluminum Sesquichlorohydrate, which is the type of aluminum product best used for sensitive skin. An ingredient used primarily for antiperspirant purposes. It doesn't contain any fragrance, which is a plus. I didn't see any parabens to my knowledge listed in the ingredients list but does not say paraben free anywhere. It contains dimethicone and glycerin, which are great for sensitive skin. 1-Is this product great for sensitive skin? 5/5 This product is the only one I've found labeled for sensitive skin that does not cause me to have a reaction. It's a lifesaver for someone like me who wants an antiperspirant and a deodorant. I can't live without this product and I hope it continues to be manufactured. Almay, you have a lifelong customer for this product! 2-Is this product effective as an antiperspirant and deodorant? 5/5 3-Fragrance free? 5/5 4-Quick Drying? 0/5 I love this product but seriously it takes FOREVER to dry. But, it's still worth it for me so I continue to use it. I literally cannot use anything else and if I could change anything it would be that it dries quicker. I usually let it air dry for two-three minutes while brushing my teeth. 5-Clear? 5/5 6-Leaving White Residue? No. 5/5 7-Stain free? 2.5/5 It is CLEAR and USUALLY doesn't stain my clothes but once it made a t-shirt have a weird bleaching effect? Not sure what happened there. Only happened once even though it has touched other items of clothing. If the clothing item is light colored it can leave a stain, which makes it look darker... and can be washed out... This can be avoided if you let it dry first before putting on clothes. The main reason this occurs is because it's not dry yet. If what you are wearing is dark colored you won't notice any stain. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin to give it try and test it on his or her skin first. When I finally reached this item I thought I'd never find an antiperspirant for my skin and I am so very glad that I tried this product. Each individual's skin is different and you won't know until you try it if it's right for you. The biggest flaw is how long it takes to dry. Otherwise, it's a GREAT product. I will continue to use unless it's discontinued and I HOPE THAT NEVER HAPPENS!! It's been a LIFESAVER for me!

Me and my family have been using it for a few years. It is a truly great antiperspirant (this isn’t a deodorant since it does contain aluminium which blocks the sweat while a deodorant is a perfume product which hides the smell of sweat but doesn’t stop the sweat), it’s a clear gel so it doesn’t leave a residue like a creamy antiperspirant does, it doesn’t have a smell which is great for people who are sensitive to fragrances (which aren’t only irritating to your skin but can disrupt your hormones too!), the other ingredients are all gentle, even the form of aluminum used is a large form of aluminium salt which isn’t as irritating and penetrating as other aluminium salts. However, like for all antiperspirants, you have to use it right to make sure it works at its best! You have to wash first very well your underarms every night, then you have to dry very well the underarms before applying the antiperspirant in multiple passes up, down and to the side, apply to all the underarm area, not only “two swipes in the middle and done”. I do that and I only have to do it at night after my shower and i don’t have to reapply during the day at all! No sweat and no smell. When you reapply on already dirty and sweaty underarms, an antiperspirant won’t work well! It has to be after a shower, after you drying all the underarm area very well with a towel! If you do it this way, I swear pretty much any antiperspirant will work well, but this one is even better because of the gel form and the great gentle ingredients. Totally recommend!
