I’m really happy with this protein. The flavor is very pleasant without being overly sweet, and the texture is smooth and not grainy at all. It mixes really well, even with just water and ice. Shipping was also very fast. Definitely a great first impression!

I have had this twice already and enjoy the taste. It blends well and does not clump. It also keeps me full until my next meal.

Don't listen to the other reviews! Nonsense. This protein taste amazing for what it is, and only 3 ingredients! I could drink it all day! I also ordered the strawberry one and love it. This is a luxury product. If you don't have the funds then don't buy it! This is for people that are tired of all the digestive problems with Lactose and Vegan proteins such as "Garden for Life" which will give you enough gas to start a 747! Not anymore! Good old pea protein, digests great and good for losing weight instead of grabbing those bad snack foods you shouldn't (you know what those are), whip up one of these protein shakes instead! Only 100 calories per serving! Love lovn' it!

I've been trying different vegan protein off and on for the past couple of years, both soy and pea protein. This is my favorite one so far! It's very smooth, no gritty taste when added to oatmeal or shakes. The vanilla is not overly sweet. The downside is that the packaging is kind of messy. Powder gets everywhere when you first open it, and the scoop was buried at the bottom of the tub. Also, the smell is kind of...strong? Not sure how to describe it. Almost bitter. It tastes waaaay better than it smells, but I also have a sensitive sense of smell so might just be me. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend trying it! The ingredients are nice and simple too.

I have been using Clean Lean Protein for over a year and I am a huge fan. I have tried many other types of protein powder and brands and am so glad I found NuZest. I was searching for a clean pea protein powder with natural ingredients for myself but also to recommend to my clients (I run a personal training business and am a nutrition coach). Whey protein is fine for some but not for myself who has a dairy intolerance. A lot of my clients feel too bloated after whey protein shakes and even hemp but this pea protein does not have that effect. I use it every day in my morning smoothie (full serving, 2 scoops) and sometimes add only one scoop to a smoothie as a snack in the afternoon. I typically blend my smoothie with ice in a blender (with some sort of leafy greens, some berries and/or 1/2 banana, chia seeds maybe some almond butter or coconut oil or avocado, a little unsweetened almond or cashew milk and water...sometimes maca powder or raw cacao powder..green tea matcha...whatever you like!) but you can add it to a shaker (they sell one on their site) and mix with water. I would assume that any power mixed with water this way might be a bit gritty but I have never drank it that way. I like thick smoothies with ice and both the chocolate and vanilla taste delicious as they are sweetened a bit with stevia. I am not a coffee or strawberry fan so I haven't tried those. The plain works well if you want to add more fruit or your own sweetener or as I use it, for baking. I have added the plain to my 4 year old's pancakes or muffins that I make and he has no clue. I always advocate getting your nutrition from whole foods first. But for someone like me who is on the go, active and eats only eggs and fish ( no meat or dairy) this works well for me as part of a healthy, balanced diet. If you feel that the price is high, compare it to other quality powders out there. I want clean with no fillers and for about $1.50/ serving, this is a good deal. The customer service is excellent as well. You can return it if you do not like the product. They also have recipes on their site.

This protein may be nutritionally value but tastes awful. It doesn’t mix well with, is gritty and separates. I even used my nutra bullet for mixing and it was still terrible. I will not use and will be requesting a refund. It’s too disgusting to be this expensive.

I've been on the search for a vegan protein powder that I like for a long time. I've tried most of the name brand ones (vega, garden of life, jarrow, etc) and I've never been able to stick with them for very long. I like to drink a protein shake before bed or after a workout and I don't want it to be high calories. With most of the supplements I've used in the past, I would have to add lots of extras to get the taste ok and then the calories would be too high for my wants and needs. With Nuzest chocolate, it's different. I only have to add unsweetened almond milk and cocoa powder and I'm set. It's pretty delicious, not very sweet and since there is no stevia, no gross aftertaste. That being said, I add 2 cups of almond milk to 1 serving of protein powder. I've found any less than that and it's too thick and the texture is hard to handle. Also, without adding cocoa powder it doesn't have enough of a chocolate taste for me, but I do have a love for dark chocolate, so there is that. Lastly, I really do recommend this protein powder if you've been looking for a stevia free vegan powder that tastes decent with add ins. Sadly though, it's too expensive for me to justify buying it very often. I understand why the price is so high, it really is a great quality protein, easily dissolved, no bloating, decent taste, but I wish there was a way it could be a bit more affordable.
