Just wanted to add some context to the people saying in their reviews that they are disappointed that the jar isn’t made of glass ‘for this price.’ I’ve done some research and a lot of the ‘responsible’ manufacturers have looked at the environmental impacts of shipping heavy glass containers half way around the world (they can’t bulk it and then package it in the U.K due to it having to be jar sealed and quality checked in the source country) and it’s better to use lightweight plastic which is still recyclable, rather than glass. Got this for my sister who had a terrible sore throat, it tastes lovely, but most importantly it did the job, it coated her throat and eased her cough, soothed her throat with it's antibacterial quality, highly recommended.

Tried this as a replacement for Manuka Doctor brand and found the taste to be similar. Good value for money too.

Manuka Honey is one of the most popular kinds of honey with beneficial and healing properties. It comes in a plastic jar, it would have been better in a glass jar. Not entirely sure why they have decided to go for the plastic more than the glass. I have tried several kinds of honey. From the cheapest one (which perhaps isn't much honey, but more glucose) to a little more expensive honey. Never tried Manuka Honey before until now. This honey is famous for having antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. In addition, Manuka Honey improves sleep! And it improves the digestive system. I got it in conjunction with a sore throat and a little cough. Seems to have helped, but obviously not cured. The taste is a little bit more bitter than normal honey, but in hot water, it becomes a good sweet drink. The price is very high. The reason is that Manuka Honey is rare in the world. Is it worth it? Considering I use it in the kitchen and I have no specific reasons to use Manuka Honey, for me, it is not worth much. However, I understand and appreciate all his excellent properties.
