These are really thin! But they clean up well and are pretty. Part of the design is clear. So if you are looking for a step up from cheap cartoon character mats, but still want to protect your tablecloth from your kids - this will do just fine.

I used these place mats as backsplash over my sink and stove and it looks astonishing pretty. My friends will take their stick on stuff off and will order these place mats and copy my invention. It really looks great and so inexpensive compared with stick on backsplash material. really love it

I should have read more reviews because they were correct about how very thin these placemats are! They are very cute on table but you can walk by and they’ll move since they are so light and thin.

Perfect for lining refrigerator shelves. They are of thin material but for my purpose they look great and I can just remove them to easily clean drips or spills.

I like that they are easy to clean and look good on my counter. My counters are subway tile and I'm using these to keep the grout clean.
