They make booboos better just by mentioning them. It might take a while to get a child to allow having a chilled one of these pressed to their skin, but once you are able to it's a lot easier than any other form of cool pack or ice pack. I think they help some with swelling after a bump. They're cute and durable (even through teething, but I wouldn't intentionally give them as a teether). They are the perfect size for young kids. The material isn't sharp or scratchy at all - they feel nice, flexible, and smooth all over.
