La mejor opcion para usar cualquier contenedor con trampa de aire, solo se requiere una mecha de 1/2 pulgada y listo, funciona correctamente en cunetes de plastico, frascos de vidrio, hasta en botellones de plastico con tapa

Fulfilled the immediate need!
I purchased a few new fermenter which lacked grommets. These answered my prayers. They fit perfectly and easily hold my airlocks in place. These are great for fermenting anything you desire. If you need some, grab these!

*** NOT FOOD SAFE *** Great for NON FOOD USE ***
Why do they advertise as silicone but list the material used is PBA plastic? Sure they claim it is a mix in a spot, but have multiple instances of referring to it as silicone. Why do actual NSF rated food grade grommets not have the same chemically putrid smell that does not subside after multiple washes like these grommets have? These grommets smell like they belong on a vehicle or used in some petroleum application, definitely NOT in a fermenter, mason jar, straw, or some other application where you have a high risk of toxins leaching into a substance you are ingesting. Only one picture used in the description is a real picture and no ingestible material is involved (it looks like a fermentation bucket but notice it is not active, it is just to give you the impression it is a fermentation bucket), the rest of the pictures are obviously modified and not pictures of the grommet(s) in actual use with ingestible material. These are great for non-food use and the measurements are on point. I would have given more stars if they included other non-food uses, but since they are advertising these for food based applications, I can only give the least number of stars available since they are putting people's health at risk. If you need a food grade grommet for your fermenter, mason jar, straw, etc. look elsewhere! If you need a grommet for wiring, oil line sleeve seal, grease gun/ pivot joint greaser, etc. these are the grommets for you!

Do not drill a 5/8” hole, too big!
Only three stars because I ruined a lid by following the instruction for a 5/8” hole. Put the gromment in that size hole it it also falls out and even with the airlock in it is still loose. Best hole size is 1/2” or even a 7/16. Another reason for the 3 star is that I had to buy a 5/8” bit because my largest bit was a 1/2”. So fair to say their description and advice for hole size cost my an unnecessary purchase and a ruined lid.
