Great crimp rings for our shower remodel!
When we were gearing up for our shower remodel project, I had to decide whether to go to PEX or stick with copper. Once I had decided on PEX-B, the question was whether to use the full crimp rings or whether to go with the cinch-style rings. I felt the crimp rings would do better in most situations and for long term. So we got a bag of the Sharkbite brand rings to be sure. They worked fantastic for us, and we haven’t had one drip of water leak from our various fittings and connections. These are definitely good quality and you can’t go wrong with Sharkbite brand. Make sure you get a decent crimp tool and make sure you buy the right fittings and tube-pipe. These are only for PEX-B. We got all of our tools and fittings on Amazon, they all worked great and our new shower is awesome.

Excellent quality crimp rings
Why did you pick this product vs others?: These sharkbite crimp rings are great quality. I’ve ordered a lot of sharbite stuff and it has been pretty universally good and trustworthy. No surprises. Nothing from them has broke so far. Just reliable stuff. As for this crimp ring, it worked. The picture shows one of them in my plumbing fixture test rig. It has been holding water for weeks. The water pressure is 60-65 psi. I’m happy with these things. USe was normal - put it on the pex and then use the press tool to make them one.
