Very Very nice!
I did a re-search of all the available handhelds in the market and choose to buy this one and I'm very happy with it. I would compare it to the Palm M515 since it has the same memory capacity (16MB) and colors, but the resolution is WAY BETTER, you can see pictures and movies and they look great and the memory sticks are way cheaper than the palm ones. It is compatible with all the other handhelds which makes it great and the look is better than any other. The only bad thing is that the Stylus is not holded very strong so you might loose it anywhere, but that's not a problem at all.

Great Handheld, autonomy could be better
This is my 4th Palm powered PDA and my second Clie after the 610c, and I just love it. I loved the 610c and this one improves on it with more memory, a slimmer/lighter design, latest OS, additional softwares and a few bugs that have been fixed (auto off now works!). The only problems (relatively speaking) that I see with it are as follows: The battery does not last very long, I would guess 4-5 hrs of continued use with the backlight on. Believe me, unless you're in bright daylight, you NEED the backlight on...Anyway, I guess the autonomy is the price you pay for such a slim device. Plus, on the 610c you could unplug the charge cord from the cradle and use it at home to charge your Clie directly into the wall. Now, you can only charge the 615 on the cradle, unless you buy the...adapter ..Not good, especially now that you need to recharge more often. The color screen is not as bright as on the 610c, I would say about 90% as good, so it still looks spectacular compared to the Palm IIIc and all the other 160x160 resolution screens. You just have to set it at almost its brightest setting for best results. All in all, this is the best Color Palm Powered device out there. No other one even comes close, especially in terms of screen/color quality, that is until Palm finally decides to join the 320X320 screen resolution club. Also, since now you can buy 128MB Memory Sticks, you can load thousands of pictures in your Clie, dozens of books, or even entire dictionaries. New also on the T615, you can backup your handheld entirely on a memory stick for a later restore if something goes wrong and you lose your info. You can back it up up to 5 times. I back mine up every day, it takes only 3 minutes. If you are thinking about buying the 760c or the MP3 adapter for this one, forget it. With the audio on, I doubt you'll be able to listen to even one CD before the battery runs out, but if you mainly listen to MP3s at home and you have the charger, then you could use the Clie as an MP3 player, just make sure you are close to an electrical outlet... One look at how an Excel table looks on the Clie compared to the Palm IIIc, Hi-Res Pics or even eBooks will smaller, more defined fonts, convinced me to buy a Clie. I recommend you do the same. And one more tip, buy FasCPU , your Clie T615C will work much faster (from 33Mhz to 55Mhz, 46Mhz for the N610C), and still be as reliable. If you access books or pictures on a memory stick, you will welcome the extra speed.

Careful with colour PDAs: rather disappointing performance!
I know it's already a bit late to give you this advice, but... here it goes. If you are an experienced Palm OS user, be careful when buying this product- and any battery powered product with colour LCD. I used to have the good old PalmV, with 2MB memory and BW display that glowed greenish in the dark; but about 9 months ago I decided to upgrade to this beautiful Sony baby, which had just started shipping. Well I should have waited. First, the transition was not smooth at all; it was not "a snap" to transfer all info between the two devices, as much of the software proved incompattible. Sony has supplied proprietary software installers but it did not feel straight forward, was rather complicated actually. Then, after all that was over, I stumbled into a very annoying problem that made me regret deeply having bought into upgrading to this SONY product: the battery of this thing is completely worthless. The colour display uses a LOT of energy and the internal battery supports, like, only 2-3 hours of continuous usage. For example, as I travel often to Europe (11-12 hours away from Los Angeles) I was preparing to plan my meetings, to play games in colour etc. But no! Impossible, most of the time when I was on a trip, my PEG T615C was dead since the beginning. The previous PDA I owned- the PalmV (a real dyno!), perhaps due to the efficiency of its 4 bit BW display, lasted for weeks and weeks between recharges. There is no way that I could carry a heavy PDA DC adapter in addition to my enormous IBM business laptop and all the other stuff; it is anyway quite annoying to get searched at every airport these days... And anyway the DC adapter is only for 110V and does not work in Europe! Cheap, oh cheap... So, there... It is now sitting quietly on my desk, the beautifully designed "it's a Sony" PDA... and I learned how to use my Nokia camera phone as an organizer- at least that one lasts for a long time. I don't know what is the performance of the other Sony Colour PDAs (newer models) but if you plan to buy one, try to get interested into their battery life.

Sony Clie PEG-T615C/S
The Sony PEG-T615C attracted me because of its versatility - though dated. I wanted to explore its various functions beyond what I normally use: address book, calendar, daily business activities, etc. on my smart phone. I haven't been disappointed. I've chosen it to learn other options for use during leisure hours.

Unlimited Future
Sony has a winner in the Sony PEG T615C. 16MB of onboard memory, with external memory expandable up to 128MB with a memory stick (...), high resolution 320x320 screen (twice as sharp as the Palm m505 or the Handspring Visor Platinum), and the thinnest form factor out there. The Clie has surprising heft for its size; it feels reassuringly solid, like it was machined out of a solid ingot of aluminum. The digitizer works great, and the ousnd fetures are an added bonus. I work in a hospital, and the added memory is very helpful: I use a dictionary, drug guide, emergency reference and two other reference titles and I still have 8MB free space on the internal memory. PLUS I have 150+ photos on my memory stick, along with a few movie titles. Also, using Sony's MS Autorun, the Clie will run programs that are split between the internal memory and the Memory Stick. Since the Clie is now in a new form factor (the T series versus the N series), this leads to its one failing: lack of accessories. No wireless (or wired!) modem, only one case style available, and the audio adapter and camera. Once more accessories become available, the Clie will be a runaway winner
