I like that these offer two options for the cover to open. They were easy to install and seem very sturdy.

This item is very nice. I have a boat and wanted to install an outlet on deck.Needless to say I needed it to be waterproof. I also didnt want something that sticks out like a sore thumb so didnt want any of the ugly stuff that all the hardware stores carry. It had to blend with the white fiberglass and not mess up the looks. When I opened the box I was extremely happy with the looks of the product. Then I discovered a very nice feature which made me love it even more. You can install the door to open horizontally or verically to allow you to install the cover either way. I also want to add that I received the item much faster than I thought I would. I live in Toronto canada. I ordered the item on Monday night and received it Friday.

The cover is very easy to install and it seals well. For most uses it will work fine but if you plan to plug in a very heavy-duty cord I'd suggest that you get a deeper cover--bending a heavy cord enough to close and lock the cover will probably put too much strain on both the cord and the cover latch. But, as I said it works great for most cords.

I noticed a few other people that bought the key lockbox we did purchased this to weatherproof it and it works great, fits like a glove, and lines up perfectly with the existing holes in the lockbox to install them both together. It's fairly easy to set up and use and the hinge can go either sideways or up and down (we chose up and down so that it falls closed by default) and is pretty stout for occasional usage.

Exactly what I needed, very well made easy to install

Just added a gfci outlet to the outside of our garage; this versitle cover make the finish work really nice. It'll work with Decora outlets or standard duplex. And you can plug in something and rain won't get to the plug. Very happy!

Very easy to install. Once I figured out how to use it, was was a breeze. Really works well, I have 2 plugs in there on a GFI plug. Used to pop all the time with just 1 plug in use. Now that the box is on there and closed, no more popping. Solid instructions. Lots of room in the box.

Couldn't find the white in-use electrical covers in the "big box stores" so I was happy to find these. UL certified and code compliant.

FUNCIONA BIEN PERO SUGIERO. SE PUDIERA PONER LA TAPA DE MANERA LATERAL E INCLUSIVE UN POCO MAS GRANDE SOBRE TODO POR QUE EN MI CASO INSTALE ELEMINADOR Y TUVE QUE HACER AJUSTES

Compré uno para el interior de la casa, ya que a mi perro le daba mucho por morder los cables conectados al enchufe cuando se quedaba solo en esa habitación.... ¡Fue la solución perfecta! Se asegura solo, pero se puede añadir un candado o algo similar si así se desea. Incluso ayuda a que los cables queden en un ángulo menos llamativo por el orificio que tiene para los mismos, así que queda mucho más pegado a la pared. Desde entonces no he tenido problemas de mordeduras. :) Fácil de instalar, viene con adaptadores (en color negro) y tornillos de repuesto. Las instrucciones son claras y sencillas. Toma muy poco tiempo para instalarse. Creo que tardé mas en poner el adaptador en la parte trasera de la cajita que en instalar todo lo demás, jaja. ¡Recomendado! :)

Tenía los cables de cámaras de exterior con las conecciones expuestas. Con eso un posible delincuente fácilmente podía pensar en desconectarlas. Y quedan con protección al ambiente.

Aunque no viene con una goma para sellar la tapa, hasta ahora no se le ha metido el agua. Es my práctica.
