The hat overall is great. I do love how I was able to decorate it the way I wanted it to, so it's great starter hat for craft lovers. It does run big, but I fixed that by putting form adhesive strips on the inside of the hat (you can find it the sewing/craft dept.) and it worked itself out.

Better quality than I imagined. I wore this hat all night and I didn’t sweat or over heat. I had cheap quality decorative hats before that were impossible to wear longer than posing for a picture.

The hat was really cute with the Uma holloween costume but it was very small for a child size head(9 year old) and did not fit properly. As a workaround, I hot glued a shoestring inside to create a chin strap to secure the hat. Otherwise very cute hat.

Our grandson loved it! It was a little large for a 6-year old but he didn’t seem to notice. It was the perfect addition to his colonial soldier costume for Halloween.

Very solid structure and trim is decent looking. But use more hot glue!
