EXCELLENT SHOW BUT BIG FRUSTRATION FOR THE CASING "Breaking Bad season 2" I have received a damaged box. The cover of the box is broken, even the cover paper is torn. But at least the disks are intact. Big disappointment for my collection. Despite this inconvenience it is an amazing show. It was so good when I rented in 2014 that I decided to buy the whole TV series today.

Great series . One of today’s best shows. More then a drug series lots of storey to it. Each season gets better and better to a great end

Very impressive. Deals with the difficult subject of meth addiction and trafficking. The protagonist is a vanilla-white middle class non-achiever. Faced with financial hardship, and freed by his life-threatening cancer. Walt starts by dabbling in meth production and sales. In Season 2, he moves up the food chain by supplying a cartel-affiliate trafficker. Thereafter, things go downhill with death threats and unintended consequences. The series stands heads above other TV shows because of its attention to emotional relationships, and the consequences of participation in the drug trade. There is Walt's estrangement from his family. Walt's difficult relationship with Jesses, and his fear of his DEA brother-in-law. In future series, Walt descends down the slippery slope as he becomes a ruthless killer and gang boss. Sometimes with regret. Sometimes not.

Great show

I'm 44 yrs old, and I'm absolutely drawn into this TV series. Walt and Jesse are the classic baby boomer versus Gen X'ers. The acting, casting, and writing is amazing. The many twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. Several times I've said, no way! I can't believe that just happened. Very edgy stuff. I like the way the episodes are layered where they stand on their own, but have flashbacks and build upon earlier episodes. Very subtle hints are dropped along the way that make you want to go back and review the previous episodes. This series has a Miami-vice like style and the music and preludes at the beginning are haunting especially the Negro y Azul episode. The whole thing just works and keeps you hooked wanting to see what happens next. The BluRay transfer has a bit of grain, but very sharp and contrast is good. The extras and behind the scenes stuff is cool. The only glitch I came across is that on Season 2 disc 3, it prompts you to insert disc 2 for some of the xtras. Doh! This series is, like, the bomb, dude. Like totally church and true that. A real keeper.
