LensCoat LW316M4 LegCoat Wraps 316 (Set of 3) (Realtree Max4 HD)

Nice thick padding. Camo cover is probably less of an issue as I'm not trying to hide the tripod from my subjects. The covers do use velcro to hold the cover together. I face that part on the inner side of the leg. No problems with it comming undone or catching on my clothing while carrying. Highly recommended.

These not only prevent the tripod from standing out in the bush, they give much needed padding that Gitzo failed to include on my tripod. Shouldering my rig without padding wasn't a comfortable experience! These make it bearable. They also prevent the tripod legs from freezing my hands in the winter, when those carbon tubes become frigid. The velcro closure holds very securely, though I've never been able to get the overlap to really lay very flat. I place them on the legs so that the seam points towards the center, so this is never a problem. While I find some of LensCoat's pricing to be monopoly driven ridiculousness, these are probably the best value of any of the products I've purchased from them. Get them in black if you don't need camo. They do a great job of completing my Gitzo Systematic.

I think that ITEM which is not made is splendid in the Japanese company. Size is thought about around GITZO and is Serious convenience

Got these primarily for cold, below zero, weather to protect my hands. Went on easily and do provide some cushion when carrying the tripod on the shoulder. Knocked off a star for price, they should be half the selling price.

I think I got a deal on these and really only needed one for my monopod but I like them so much I put the other 2 on the legs my good Benro tripod that have no covering.

I used to buy foam to cover pipe and tape it around the legs of my tripod with duck tape, a solution much cheaper that buying the Lenscoat wraps… but life is too short and now I indulge. The product seems of very good quality and it is easier to put it on and take it off when you want to clean your tripod.

LW316DC works well with my RRS TVC-33! The diameter is perfect, the length with this legcoat 316 will leave .75" gap on top and bottom, which is fine for me.

Worked great ! That velcro is crazy strong

The velcro works well, but leaves a large flange that protrudes, requires some rearranging to keep it positioned to the interior space of the tripod.
