The pattern we got is attractive and very cute. The zip compartment at the bottom is handy. The lining around the inside of the fabric exterior is great for damp towels -- just don't leave damps towels in there overnight! The built-in clear plastic bag for wet bathing suits is handy but is already starting to get a bit funky and discolored after a month of regular use. Its lightweight and I like the inside zippered pocket plus the zippered section at the bottom for shoes, its a great design. The plastic lined compartment for a bathing suit would fit an adult swimsuit. I don't think the bag is big enough to carry a regular beach towel but my nieces are small for their age so the size is appropriate for them. The fabric is very soft but I'm uncertain how durable it will be.
