Amazing! I put some oil on it before I started using it at all, so I don’t know how loud it actually is but I’m guessing not much louder than it is, and it is not loud at all! It’s light feels like a toy in fact and boy is it powerful! Cuts through things like butter! No cords?! Amazing! It’s a great product I can’t fault it, it’s cute strong light just what the doctor ordered for ease of garden maintenance! Cut what you see in the picture in less than 5mins. And as you can see those are some thick branches.

This hedge trimmer works very well indeed. I got the 56cm version as I wanted it for clearing brambles so the longer the reach the better. My trimmer came with one 2ah battery, a chunky worx charger and the trimmer with slide on blade guard. I already own other worx tools so had other batteries but usually plug them into my worx fridge to charge. So I chose this version that came with the charger to be able to charge in future without needing to use the fridge to do it. Its more economical than buying the bare hedge trimmer and a charger for my already owned batts but if I had had the charger already, I would have gone for the bare bones trimmer. Ive use it for 3 long stints of hedge trimming so far (bramble clearing to the ground about 7 hours). It can cope with 1cm thick green growth and about 15mm thick dead growth. It says 2cm thick max but brambles are sort of whippy and take cutting from both sides to cope with 2cm thickness. Tree branches of that thickness are easier to get through as they are already drier. So far it is working brilliantly. You dont get any dying off of the power as it runs out of battery, it just carries on till it stops. I check every now and again using the charge level button on the batt so I can charge when it gets low. It doesnt get how at all. You need to squeeze the handle button and the second handle button which are bars in the handles not a small awkward button. The weight is very good. I have arthritis in my thumb pads so that is important. I havent had any hand cramping using it. Im very happy with it

I have the worx strimmer with two batteries, but it came with a basic charger that takes forever. Was on the lookout for a cordless hedge trimmer and saw this one on offer and was pleased to see it came with a battery and the fast charger that always bugged me that the strimmer didn't. Bit of a no brainer to me at that point as the strimmer is a bit of a beast on full charge and has not shown any signs of packing up several years in. Absolutely wasn't disappointed. I bought because I have a laurel hedge now at 2 years established that needed a tidy up and a patch of land next to me that is running wild, with brambles threatening to take out my fence. Spent a couple of afternoons tackling each and it made light work of most of it. Only needed to get the big loppers out to take big bramble stems back to the ground which were easily an inch across. It's not not heavy and is easy to handle Bonus that I can now charge my strimmer batteries a whole 5 hours faster too Very happy with the purchase

Excellent lightweight trimmer - purchased via Amazon Warehouse so good price, I have a number of Worxs tools so happy with the quality of the brand, and have a number of larger batteries and a fast charger. This trimmer handles the fresh growth on our various shrubs and bushes easily, far easier and tidier than hand shears! Easy to use and the safety features work well. I am using with larger 4ah batteries which I already owned so no idea on the life of the supplied batteries (1.5ah) but I trimmed all I needed to and then used same battery on Worxs strimmer and still plenty of life left in it. Ideal for our needs - no long hedges to do or anything like that, just approx six shrubs & bushes, so did not want anything too big, and easy to get out to tidy a patch up without the bother of extension leads etc. Like other reviewers I found that the online warranty system would not accept the model number, however I contacted Worx via their Facebook page and they gave me customerservice @ worxtools . com to contact and they have confirmed the same day the warranty extension in the form of the email you normally get when you register online, so mine is covered until August 2022 for one purchased August 2019. No explanation as to what the problem is but happy that warranty is extended and they were very quick to respond both on Facebook & via email. NOTE does not show up on the registered tool list on the online, which is a shame. (Don't try the sales@ email address as I just got an auto respond email indicating that not been received - or that is what Google translate from the Chinese words said!)

It's not a bad hedge cutter, it does kind of struggle with branches over 6mm. Where as my cable strimmer would just cut through. But it's not a big issue as with being battery operated it has so many advantages e.g. not getting tied up in cables or the cable getting tangled on rocks etc. it's is also very light so shaping the hedge is a breeze and speedy. So don't see any issues with longevity.

Cuts well

Two points to note; it struggles, even on full charge, to meet the specified cutting capacity, the hand grip and switch position are not easy for left handed operation or if wearing gloves. Well constructed with a reasonable battery life, just needs the ergonomics sorted.
