24123 1/24 Scale Sports Car Series Toyota Supra Model Kit (300024123)

Love this kit, it's very well made. All the parts fit very well and was easy to build. Great detail and the wheels can turn. I added a 3d resin printed body kit and wheels.

Very easy build good quality

This Supra was a bit tricky. It starts off fairly easy, but if you want to get the paint details right, you'll be on it for days, masking, fixing inevitable mistakes and then sanding for bonding these parts. The result of hard work is an incredibly detailed model by Tamiya. From the 2Jz engine, the underbody details with almost everything being a separate part, the adjustable active front spoiler, to even the little "Supra" decals for the brake calipers. I can look at this beauty for hours. As for special features goes, this model comes with both right-hand drive and left-hand drive consoles, optional hood scoop for the European version (drilling required), optional side markers for the American version and the active spoiler for the JDM version. License plates are either California license plates, the "Supra" legend, or Japanese plates. It is recommended that you use a hand drill for the rear wipers as there are no holes provided. All in all, another amazing product from Tamiya. Materials are great, there is little to no flash and everything fits like legos. Take you time with this one. It is worth it!

This is only my second car build and I must say the kit itself is impressive. I've mostly built Gundam model kits so I'm fairly use to there being a ton of details. My only gripe with this kit have to deal with rear view and side view mirrors. Due to my inexperience with building model cars, I didn't attach either before paint. Luckily, I was able to use some Elmer's glue to set them in place, dab CA glue using a toothpick around the edges, and then clean it up using warm water and buffing compound. I really wish they at least included a peg on the mirrors and a hole on the body to attach it to. It just seemed like it was made more difficult that it should have been since if you painted before you attached them, there's a good possibility the glue will make a mess and ruin your paint job. I'll glue them on first next time. 100% loved this kit. Wish there were more kits like this with the same engine details this kit includes.

I bought it as a gift but it arrived late, and the package was a little but damaged. But the model after assembly looks just like the real car.

Here is another project for your kids to do! Small pieces and glued some pieces! Its fun to do and a challenge! You can paint it whatever color too!

Tamiya es genial, salvo alguna pieza pequeña, todo encaja perfectamente. Las instrucciones son aceptables pero no vienen en español. 👍😃

Super Bausatz. Nicht allzu viele Teile. Dennoch herausfordernd. Schönes Auto, fast so schön wie der Mazda RX-7. 🙂.
