Not as big in capacity as it seems, I think the size is based on the outer diameter and not the inner, which is considerably smaller. I used this to cover a bunch of cables going from one side to another side of my entertainment system/computer desk. My latest cat would simply not leave the cables alone, plus it did look sloppy. This did the trick, although it barely fit the several cables. Cat has zero interest in it now and it looks much better across the baseboard.

This stuff appears rugged. Albeit, a little difficult to put on. However, that's probably a good thing if you want it to stay on what's being covered.
