Great product. Only issue with this adapter is that also plugs into the ear phone jack. So I'm not able to use my Bluetooth speaker. I would have to plug the speaker into the adapter to use the speaker.

Working really well when you want to transfer files from your flash 🚗 drives and your older portable hard drives to a cell phone via usb ports which varies phone to phone Not just on SURFACE GO 2 but also made for SURFACE GO 1 as well. This adapter comes in 2 different versions. Get both if you need one or the other.

I am pleased with the docking station and would buy it again. There is just one thing to be aware of. If you have a sturdy case cover on your Surface, then the plug arrangement on this particular docking station will not plug in when the case cover is on. It has a two plug set up and when inserted rests flush against the side of the monitor. A sturdy case cover can not accommodate that type of plug. I did not contact the seller because no where does the product suggest it would work with a sturdy case cover. Likely it would work with a thin cover that is designed for looks and to prevent scratches. I decided to keep the docking station and only use it after removing the sturdy case cover.

No issues so far and basically sets itself up. Wanted one with a HDMI port for a HDMI TV so I wouldn't need reading glasses to see the Go's screen. .This one had it and the one sold by Microsoft does not, also about 1/3rd the price. Has 2 USB ports. Also bought a combo mouse / keyboard that only uses one USB port to run both.

Update- its now useless. I have this plugged almost all of the time to my Go which is pretty stationary. Fits snuggly. Has the right ports. 2 months in and it has started having issues with not reading SD cards. I can use my old adapter and the cards read fine so I know they are not the issue. A little bit of vibration on my desktop and it disconnects/reconnects causing windows to close and open or my mouse to stop working momentarily.

The hdmi and the USB works well but not the audio. Often, the material disconnect and reconnect. It doesn't affect the USB key that stay open but the sound is annoying.

When I bought my surface, I was going from a desktop and laptop to a small device. I had no idea how I was going to use flash drives and external mouse & keyboard. This device has been my godsend. It works better than the seller promised. Thank you!

With the surface go, there are no ports for anything. Being in photography, I needed something for SD cards and flash drives. Granted, I have an actual laptop (it runs super slow); I am so excited to be able to use a mouse and have ports now!!! Love this item!
