Sadly my old bow tie seems to have shrunk over the years. So size was a key requirement. This seems huge accommodating my 18.5 collar size with ease. Otherwise nicely put together. If I have to replace this one I’m in trouble.

The bow tie is good quality and the fastener is easily adjustable and a good fixture. However, the 'knot' material across the front where the bow is kept tight is twisted at the front. Now I imagine not many people will notice this, but ideally a bow tie knot should be smooth and flat across the front. You can just about move the twist to underneath with some patience so it’s not as visible if you prefer a smooth looking knot. I guess for £10 and pure silk, it's a good purchase. It's around 11cm across, I have an average size face, so it's just about the right width. If you have a large face, this will be too small!
