Super device! Outstanding power (3.5 kW - other comparable usually have only 1.8-2 kW)! Also, it is very compact; very convenient also the included case. Works without problems with standard MSF-1a / CP 250 227g butane cartridges The windshield is also very functional and useful! We have used the stove mostly with an 32cm iron skillet and/or a 28cm square cast iron grill pan. Fits great! Note: If you plan to use the stove with a Bialetti (THE Italian espresso pot), think about a reducer star

What a game changer for outdoor cooking!!! I love everything about this burner. It lights up quickly! And, it even comes in a carrying case. At first, I was worried about the alignment of the Butane, but it was so EASY because it attaches to a magnetic piece under the cover. Definitely gonna get another one!

I bought this stove for camping and backyard Korean BBQ. I’ve used it 3 times already and it has worked great! I only use it on about half-way (just past the “simmer” marker) and it’s plenty of heat. I live in California so I had to find the butane cans in-store. Luckily, there was plenty available at my local Korean market and outdoor stores. It is well made and easy to clean. The carry case is kind of cheap though. Definitely recommend if you like camping, Asian cooking or both!

Came back from Japan and wanted to try yakiniku grilling at home. Bought this Iwatani camp stove paired with the Iwantani ABURI Grill Plate. The combination worked perfectly to grill up some American wagyu at home. The flame gets hot enough for grilling (at medium setting) and I'm confident i will do a fine job with pots and pans. Have used it 4 times and it stil looks new. Since using this, I saw a similar stove at ghe Costco Business center for less. If I were to do it again, I'd probably grab the one at Costco.

Good portable stove for outdoor cooking. Like feature to retain fuel canister

This Iwatani butane stove is amazing! It’s compact, lightweight, and incredibly easy to use. The flame is powerful and consistent, making it perfect for camping trips, outdoor cooking, or even emergencies at home. The build quality feels solid, and the ignition system works flawlessly every time. It heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly, which makes cooking super efficient. Cleaning is also a breeze. I live in a third world country where even a backup generator can go down when the grid fails. This device and a couple of spare canisters of fuel from Walmart will get me through anything without requiring mountains of space for storage. It has the power you need to cook just about anything. It wasn't super easy to use on the floor of my balcony outside, but it was doable and it's better than being without any means to boil water for coffee or cook food. I live in a very windy area and I ended up using it indoors next to a slightly open sliding glass window that blew outside when a different window was open, and that provided enough airflow to prevent the carbon monoxide detector from detecting anything.

We got this gas stove because I wanted a backup for power outages and to take with us when we go camping. I tried it out and I liked it so much that I now use it for most of my stovetop cooking because it’s so easy to adjust the temperature from slightly warm to blazing hot, it’s very powerful and it heats up instantaneous; it’s so convenient not to have to wait for a coil to heat up. It’s not the cheapest option out there but it is well made and well worth the money. The warming plate underneath the canister is ingenious, I finished the first fuel canister this week and there wasn’t a drop of unused butane left in the bottle, very impressive! I used a Coleman butane canister I bought at Walmart while I awaited delivery of the proprietary Iwatani butane canisters. The Coleman canister fits and works great, it also costs quite a bit less, but I must add the flame from the Iwatani canister seems to be a bit cleaner and more consistent. You can decide based on your priorities and preferences which you want to use.

This is a big improvement over the basic versions of butane stoves. Happy with the purchase.

Comes in a nice case, is build very sturdy and has a nice fit and finish to it. I love the bottle warmer it has so that it keeps consistent heat and power and entirely empties the can of butane. It's a little pricey but when you compare it to other brands that output 12000 BTU and have the fuel warmer (they call it the heat panel system) it is not really anymore costly. It is listed as burning for 70 minutes at full power but I have got about 2 and a half hours of burn time at the low heat output when I use it for Korean BBQ. Very efficient and easy to clean and assemble/disassemble.

Really good quality, powerful

I have not used either propane or butane burners before. I had gotten a propane one and I found it much more complicated and fussy. This butane burner was so easy and works great. I would highly recommend!
