I purchased 3 of these connect version with the hub for a small fortune 5 years ago, now I couldn't imagine living without them! All three are still being used daily and are in good working order. Although not dishwashable, I have always washed the half-moon bowls ( I have plenty spare) in the dishwasher and they appear to have weathered just fine. The rest of unit can be a bit fiddley to clean, and the batteries can tend to fall out the bottom if you knock/accidently kick the unit, fixed with a bit of ducktape as the battery covers are not that secure, could be better. Otherwise 5 stars because despite the issues, these are great for controlling your cats diet, keeping the dogs out of the cats food, and perfect it you want to feed-and-leave, like if your cat doesn't want to eat at that moment, or if someone is looking after them while you are away. The units I own have also withstood the test of time, quite durable which isn't very common for app connected devices these days. My cats have never had any problems using them either, they know exactly which is their feeder and how to trigger the shutter with close proximity.

Love this, my cat took a couple of days before she was comfortable using it . Best way around it was to use the two bowl option.

Great product. It took my cat about a month to get used to using it but she is easily scarred by noise. Easy to set wifi hub and the app. Works great.

Aside from the fact it arrived dirty, damaged & used...When it says microchip, its means any and all! Eg if you have two cats & want one to be able to get the food & one not to, it doesnt work, you cant register specific chips. Utterly pointless & poorly advertised.

It looks nice and the app works well but this feeder eats through batteries making it very expensive to run. Next time, will purchase the original model. It does not have the fancy app etc but the batteries last for a very long time. Very disappointed with this new model.

I absolutely adore this product. I have one cat with dietary requirement and one cat who gobbles everything down. So for keeping them separate and on a diet it is amazing. The app is really cool and being able to weigh the food has been helpful. Our cats don’t bother us as much for food as they can now nibble through the day as they please. Both cats figured it out very quickly (same day) with a couple of treats to do so. Really easy to clean. Only criticism would be that one of our cats is tall and doesn’t like the arch touching her ears, so she does stand in a bit of an odd way to use it. Could be bigger in that arch area.

Me ha cambiado la vida con estos comederos. Se abren con el chip de la cabeza del gato y e comprado 2 uno para cada gato que tienen alimentaciones diferentes. Ya no tengo que agacharme para dar de comer al gato el pienso especial y que no se lo coma mi otro hago. Ojalá lo hubiera comprado antes y no me tendría como una esclava quitando y recogiendo el pienso todo el rato. Controlo también lo que come y las veces que va al comedero, que según la estadística siempre va entre las 4 y las 6 de la mañana, así que ya no me tengo que levantar zombi de la cama para ponerle la comida. El precio lo vale sin duda.

Our food motivated cat couldn't break into the feeder allowing our other cat the opportunity to go back to her grazing style of eating. Motor is super quiet. The trays are removal and allows us to wash it between use. The app also lets you see exactly how much food our cat has eaten and feeding times.

fast shipping and arrived in great condition, my connect hub wasn't included (missing from the order) but Surefeed and Amazon sorted the problem very quickly!! absolutely love the microchip feeder, I have three cats and one needs special food but also loves to snack over the day the microchip feeder lets me know how much he's eating and stops his brothers from stealing his food
