Beautiful Book
I wish this was offered in a bigger size for my older eyes. That's my only complaint. If you have eye problems, the type will be a tad too little for you. Beautiful book with numerous pictures with a plethora of information.

Still beautiful, but edited version: buyer beware
This is a killer book, probably the best volume out there if you're interested in the art and symbolism of western esotericism. Pay attention to which edition you're getting, this is the 575-page version, not the 710-page version. If you're paying under US $40, you're getting the shorter version. Also be warned that the book is 8x5.75 inches, not even the size of full trade paperback. So it is beautifully illustrated, but the intricate images are tiny, and so is the print. But for a single volume, this is the one to get.

Amazing book to reference while studying the topic
Amazing collection of Images with brief descriptions. More of a reference book to be used while studying other Alchemy / Mysticism books than to be read on its own.

do not trust this company
this company (a...n) prints the books and you can see on the picture it is terrible. Paper is thinner and feels cheap, dust cover is low resolution and shiny, the book cover is cheap print, the whole experience of the book is nothing like Taschen is supposed to be. It is awful. If you have never seen the book before, you would be in impression this is the way the book is supposed to be. It is not. If they can print books how they like, do they edit or change books to what suits them? This happened many times, it is not just this book. I would suggest shopping elsewhere, if you can. The best option is from a proper book store where you can see it before buying it.

Très bel ouvrage
Je me suis régalée à feuilleter les pages de ce livre. Attention, il faut avoir un assez bon niveau en anglais pour le lire (dans le cas contraire, un traducteur auto fera l'affaire mais à vos risques et périls). Je ne suis pas complètement profane niveau connaissances en ésotérisme mais je ne cesse d'apprendre de nouvelles choses fascinantes à travers ce livre. Et qu'est ce qu'il est beau ! Les illustrations sont captivantes ! L'état du livre est impeccable, les pages sont d'un blanc immaculé. Il est arrivé correctement emballé sous papier blister. Je n'achète d'habitude jamais des livres neufs donc je ne sais pas si c'est habituel en tout cas ça suffit à m'impressionner. J'ai dû contacter le vendeur pour obtenir une information avant la livraison et ils ont été très réactifs pour me répondre.
