Question 1

What is a good quality usb power bank? i'm thinking of powering a boss rv-5 reverb pedal and also a rc-30 loop station. is this the right device?

Accepted Answer

Hi
Thanks for your question.
Any decent USB power bank will do the job just fine, although we particularly like the Anker PowerCore 15000 Redux, because of the physical size, the power capacity, and the ability to stay always on with no minimum current draw (earplug charging mode).
For your requirements though, we wouldn't recommend daisy chaining the rv-5 and rc30, as being digital they will not like sharing power and would potentially/likely create noise.
I hope this helps.

Question 2

Will this power my boss rc10r looper pedal when couple with https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/b012v9h3wa power bank

Accepted Answer

Hi there,
Thanks for you question
The Lil' moXie will easily power the Boss rc10r looper with any USB power bank, including the one mentioned in the question, but make sure you don't use the daisy chain cable to power the rc10 together with other pedals or it will produce a high pitch oscillating digital noise through your speaker.
You can power the rc10 with the Lil' moXie on its own with no issues.
I hope this helps

Question 3

Can this be plugged into a Coolmusic Bp40d battery amp

Accepted Answer

Hi
Thank you for your question.
I'm afraid the Coolmusic Bp40d requires 18v and 3A and has a centre positive power connector
The Li'l moXie can supply 9v and 2A and has a centre negative connector, so it will not work with this amp
I hope this helps.

Question 4

Will this power Roland GR55?

Accepted Answer

Hi there,
Thank you for your question.
The GR 55 uses the Roland PSB-1U power supply, which in terms of specs is identical to the Li'l moXie (Centre negative connector, 9V, 2A output), so the Li'l moXie should work perfectly fine.

Having said that, there might be other issues due by the fact that the GR 55 is digital and/or that the power bank used might not be of decent quality.

We'd recommend giving the Li'l moXie a try with GR 55, and as always, if for any reason it doesn't deliver and you're not satisfied, just get in touch and we'll immediately issue a full refund, no questions asked.

I hope this helps.
