Canon Powershot G16 (Expanded Guides)

Great book! Very glad I purchased as I am a beginner. Book does a good job of explaining what this wonderful camera is capable of. I especially like the charts, diagrams, and pictures which show you what each icon is for, where to find it on the camera, and what each of its functions are. I know I will never use this camera to its fullest potential but it's nice to know the info is in this book if I ever need it. M.G.

very helpful for this great little viewfinder camera ! Holding any camera or phone out at arms length to compose a foto is absurd ! Thanks Canon for making the G16 :-)

Lots of great information presented in a logical manner. The author explained steps in layman's terms and there are lots of screen shots and illustrations. The book is a great size to stick in a pack and is light weight, so it's portable enough to take on nature trips. I thoroughly researched the options and am very happy with this guide.

great book, i had the Canon G7 model and finely broke down and got the G16, Believe it or not i use Nikon SLR cameras but love Canon's compact camera and since they didnt change the quality (very sturdy feel) i got the latest one.

This book is all you need to be able to take your G-16 out and shoot. And the service I received was perfect.

while really full of useful info, the book is very difficult to read. Font is too thin, and it's grey, not black on white pages. There are passages of white letters on light grey backgrounds which are almost impossible for me to make out under electric light. Should the book go to a second printing, please imprive the contrast.

Seems to be a good book. Just got the camera, so have not explored it's uses using the book.

This is a beautifully produced, well-bound, small format paperback of the highest quality. It is clearly and logically set out, with easy- to-read descriptions and guidance on how to use the camera. Add to this the many helpful photos and illustrations, and it's a pleasure to read. Like most guide books though, it's not designed to be read in one go, cover to cover. (Information overload!) I initially read Chapter 1 - an Overview - carefully; then skimmed though Chapter 2 to learn about the camera's many functions. After that, I've dipped in to it, as appropriate, and can recommend this guide without reservation.

Ho acquistato questo libro in quanto il manuale a corredo della G16 è pratcamente solo in PDF ... Dice più o meno quello che riporta il manuale Canon con qualche esempio in più. Meno male che parlo inglese, perchè questo libro non è stato tradotto in italiano.
