Just remember, when the measure the screen, it is diagonally corner to corner. I have standard horizon, garmin and humminbird and they all fit the same. mostly to protect from scratches when it is in storage and the sun when not in use. my instruments are protected by the windshield so the wind will not get to them, however running in the Atlantic in rough water on plane will not shake them off. you can always put a rubber band around it if you are afraid it will fly off in direct wind, however, once the boat is in use you tend not to have the cover on anyways. hope this helps ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good protection *by J***D on October 16, 2012* I wanted to have a protective cover for my new 596 unit and purchased it through Amazon for the best price & no S/H fees.
