Bought these to do some extra wiring on my side-by-side. They worked well.

I used these in wiring up a Lionel train layout. I used (or in some cases destroyed) all 50 of them. Over all I was pretty happy with them. I had never used these before. I had always done "home run" wiring to traditional screw type terminal posts. This time I ran power "busses" around the table and attached track and accessories to the "bus" by using these connectors. The only connection problems I ran into was when I was trying to use "speaker wire". I'd split the two wire cord but the insulation on that wire was "rubbery" and several times I did not get a good connection and had to cut off the device wire and use two new connectors on the bus. Over all I found it a lot easier than stripping, crimping, soldering and screwing the connections together.

Used these to install some patio lights. The plastic is a little bit stiff which made it slightly difficult to slip it over the wire. After crimping the wires it locked in place and everything worked great. The price was greatAnd I would buy them again.

This product is very difficult to use. The amount of pressure that is required to snap the device closed makes it nearly impossible to hold smaller gauge wires in place with one hand. Once closed, the device does a poor job of clamping the wires down and holding them in place. Overall, this is a poorly designed product using substandard materials. You are better off using wire nuts or a terminal block.
