Fishy aftertaste but obviously.. Amazing taste.
Pretty reasonable taste, probably gonna buy again. - bought salmon jerky the same time, and still haven't finished that one because it was too salty and hard... This bag of tuna jerky lasted 1-2 days, super good, and EXTREMELY fresh, and easy to eat. sort of hard to eat 3-4 pieces at one time but super flavorful. Thin slices but last a while when you chew it.(recalling how good it actually was)

weird but good
this was bought as a joke for CHRISTMAS but it was actually pretty darn good- the texture is different than meat jerky but you do get the jerky and the fishy going to produce a good flavor. this reminds me of the dry flaked tuna that comes on sushi only its in big pieces

Oh Holy Grail!!!
Oh my kaimana, sweet kaimana, where have you been all my life?! I've had salmon jerky before and while it's been decent, I was amazed at my first bite of this Ahimazing teriyaki tuna jerky. It's chewy yet tender unlike most fish jerky I've had. My husband is a saint for surprising me with this little treat and I will be subscribing to get this every month. I'm in love! Flavor is perfect although my husband says it's a little too salty. I disagree. IT'S SO GOOD!!!

Not my style of jerky
I don't like any kind of jerky that's too sweet, but something in the ingredients led me to believe this wouldn't be overly sweet, but I was horribly wrong. I love ahi and have had dry smoked ahi that was delicious, tasted of the sea, salty, chewy with a tiny hint of brown sugar. I thought that the jerky would be a drier, chewier version of that, but it was soft, kind of mushy and so terribly sweet. It might have made a good ice cream topping, but a savory treat it was not. Sorry, probably just me.

Good stuff. First time trying it.
I was sceptical, but it was really good. Chewy without being too dried out. I wish that the pieces were a little bigger. They're pretty small. But it's not a big deal. My only real issue is that the price point is a bit high. I'd be a lot more likely to get more if it was a bit cheaper.

If you love Tuna Jerky you'll love this brand best!
We Recently visited Boulder CO and for the first time ever I tried tuna jerky. The brand we tried Itsumo was just ok. When I returned home to Illinois I searched for other brands and Kaimana Ahi Tuna Jerky wins hands down. Great taste ( not fishy tasting) moist --not overly dry and comes in many flavors - but the original is my favorite.
