Great product

About 16 years ago, (age 49) I was in such horrible pain from arthritis, that my husband begged me to take this supplement before I began a traditional treatment that had scary side effects. I had already tried Celebrex and then they realized it caused heart problems. My thumbs were frozen and I had "trigger" finger so badly that I taped my fingers together to sleep. I was young (25) and a brand new mom, when diagnosed. It runs in the females of my family on BOTH sides. Six weeks later (2caps a day) I was symptom free. It did not happen quickly, so be patient. I had to do physical therapy to unfreeze my thumbs. Before Mangosteen, I was unable to even write. Today, I am an oil painter. My dr could not even believe it. I still test positive for RA, but have been symptom free for almost 100% of the time. Twice, I quit taking it and symptoms came back with a vengeance, but subsided again after a few weeks of treatment. Mangosteen is a tiny bit of a blood thinner. I have been told it is less than a baby aspirin. So, I usually quit a week before any med procedure that could cause bleeding. This one week never causes relapse.Hope this helps!

Perfect. I was able to buy this product from a health store but they stopped carrying it. I needed mangosteen in pill form to travel. It was a great find on Amazon. I am able to continue my routine with taking the herb and I feel wonderful. Solaray provides a good product. I was concerned that the pills would not be as successful as the liquid form but it still does a great job.

I purchased this item because I have Cutaneous Mastocytosis (a mast cell disorder). Mangosteen inhibits leukotrienes. , prostaglandins, and interleukins. These are chemicals I seem to have issues with. I take berberine, bromelain, and quercetin in the morning, but add these in and sometimes black cumin seed oil capsules in in the late afternoon. By using this product I am able to stabilize myself without the use of taking daily antihistamines. Taking daily antihistamines lowers your body's natural DAO enzyme needed to balance histamines so, personally, I try not to take big pharma meds. Instead, I try to take care of my body naturally when I can, and use the big pharm stuff for bad bad days or emergencies. I trust this brand and would repurchase this item. I would also recommend them.

It’s makes me very nauseous when I take it

I've been taking this for over 10 years now. I know it works because I ran out overseas and couldn't get anymore. My hands and legs started hurting badly within about a week. When I got back I started on it and the pain went away within a day or two. I also like the liquid form that is 100% Mangosteen. I mix it with apple or other juice. I don't buy the brands with juice already mixed because they don't tell you how much is juice and how much is Mangosteen. I called and wrote to XanGo to find out how much of their product was juice vs Mangosteen but no one seemed to know anywhere so after about 6 months I found this product and the 100% liquid bottles of Mangosteen Gold and they have worked great for many years. I found out about the Mangosteen plant from doctors treating cancer tumors as it aids in massively reducing many tumors before surgery. Google will have plenty on this subject if you want to know more information.
