Ultra Swim Chlorine Removal & Hard Water Treatment Moisturizing Shampoo, 7 Ounce

I had green hair recently because of some pool filters not being cleaned correctly , not from chlorine but algae and debris in the pool. I have highlighted hair and all those strains of hair were green after swimming with or without a swim cap. I took my chances on this shampoo to remove it and honestly I did not think it would work. IT WORKED !! It took 3 shampoos to do it but it did work! It was a great price for removing all that out of my hair so this is a great product!! I recommend it 100%!! I will keep it on hand in case I want to remove anything from my hair that was not suppose to be there it also made my hair feel slinky smooth , healthy and smells great! Thanks to whomever made this it was a life savor.

I love this shampoo. My daughter is on swim team three times a week. It wreaks havoc on her hair. We tried several different shampoos, but this one is the best for removing the build-up chlorine leaves on her hair. I recommend pairing up with the conditioner which helps with brushing and giving it that extra care.

My mom used to buy this for my sister and I back in the 90’s when we were in high school and on the swim team. So when we joined a pool and tennis club and my hairdresser began to complain about all the chlorine in my hair when I’d go see her at the end of the summer, I decided to see if this stuff was still around, and sure enough it is! She says my hair feels healthy and she can’t feel the chlorine. Score! This does a great job of removing chlorine and preventing the dreaded green color build up. It smells great and the price is a no brainer. I read some reviews where people complained about how “expensive” this was, and for under ten bucks, it’s a deal. We went to the pool about 2x a week during the summer and I would use it about once a week to prevent buildup, so not everyday, but it’s was enough to be effective. There’s plenty of it left even after my son and I both used it, so I won’t have to buy more next year.

I learned what hard water does to hair after I moved to the Northeast. I tried everything that didn't address the root cause of the problem, even a regular clarifying shampoo. A humiliating hair cut later, I learned more about hard water, it's effects, and that I actually needed a chelating shampoo to remove the mineral buildup. This one that's made for swimmers to remove chlorine works really well! My hair is soft and growing back! I swear that a lot of problems people have with their hair, hair fall, limpness, dullness, frizz, etc, despite trying many different products, is due to the effects of hard water. This is my second bottle of the shampoo, and I love it!!

This conditioner really helps remove the chlorine after swimming and leaves my hair soft. The only downside is the smell it’s a bit unpleasant when you first apply it. But once you rinse it out, the smell goes away and my hair feels clean and smooth again. Overall, it works great for swimmers who need something gentle but effective.

This works well but smells to me of cat pee. I get whiffs of that odor even after my hair is dry. Hair texture came out great, like to the same it was before the pool chemical damage. That smell though...it's just too much. I found another that works a bit less well but is less offensive

My daughters go to the pool a lot in the summer, so their hair gets greasy form the chlorine. We got this to help wash it out better and it is great! It works to get chlorine out and it was definitely worth the money.

I had a terrible issue with the chlorine smell from my hair after using other shampoos – this one works best for sure. Best after swim shampoo I could have found.
