I'm a lifeguard and i need to reach 300 mt with a clear strong sound in wind and bad weather conditiom, is this whistle better than the fox40 classic?

I was a lifeguard (LG), Lifeguard Instructor (LGI), Water Safety Instructor (Swim Instructor), Aquatic Instructor (sailing, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing), and EMT. Used the original Fox40 in all those situations and more (rescue, high surf, pool, lake, etc.) and even more (Ski Patrol, USAR, Fire, etc). The older one was not as loud as this and performed stellar. I imagine this will work well too. Might not work underwater, but for that I used a "Storm". This one you can hear underwater....so those pesky kids will have no excuses saying they can't hear you. ;)

How long should you blow this whistle and scaring off a coyote

Depends on the persistence of the coyote: if it flees after the first hardy blow, you're done; if it remains, blow away, wave your arms, etc. until it leaves.

Is this whistle good for attaching to my life vest, good for water sports?

I would certainly think so, yes!
