ARMYU Brown Original Heavyweight Cotton Canvas Classic Heavyweight Military Messenger Bag + Streamer

I've been using this for several months to carry tactical accessories on various missions. It hasn't let me down unlike some of those double agents at CTU. I believe that being able to keep my extra pistol magazines, ammo, pocket scope, lock picking tools and comms handy and organized is what helps me keep a step ahead of my enemies both foreign and domestic.BUT, in reality, here is what I really think of the bag itself. It has held up to daily abuse being used to carry my laptop, mouse, charger and various accessories to and from work for several months. It shows no signs of wear fraying or fading. I did add a few clip on mesh bags for internal organization and accessory containment. I also added a Cocoon GRID-IT organizer to hold various small pieces that I like to keep handy but don't use everyday. Spare mouse batteries, pens, notepad, ear buds, lip balm, mints etc. Hey even Jack Bauer gets chapped lips sometimes, right?The strap is sturdy and has held up although it is not very grippy and tends to slide off my shoulder easier than I like especially with a leather jacket. But it does make it easy to adjust and deploy across the chest when I need to keep my hands free or if I am walking for an extended distance. I hope this helps!UPDATE: 2/23/2016. I noticed something on the bag the other day and realized It has been a year now since I have been carrying this bag. It has stayed fairly clean despite being tossed into my floorboard every day and night going to and from work. I have yet to wash it. The hook and loop fastener has weakened over time and is not as sticky as it was when new. This is an easy remedy with replacement hook and loop tape available pretty much anywhere. Just the loop portion needs replaced. The canvas has become a little fuzzy where the velcro rubs against it but it hasn't worn through or caused any problems with usage. The piping has become loose or un stitched in a few small areas over time but once again is an easy fix with needle and thread or sewing machine.I plan to upgrade to a new bag for work within the next week mainly because I want something different not because the bag has failed me. I plan to wax this messenger bag for more durability in wet weather and use it as an overnight bag or camera bag with an insert. it may just become a goody bag for gear to keep in my Jeep. I'll address the velcro situation and the lose piping first. I may add another pocket to the interior as well as a shoulder pad while I am at it.

I got this bag back in 2011 when I decided to ditch the backpack look (and inconvenience) for something I thought fit me and my traveling lifestyle better. This bag provided me with a lot of coverage in the years since and I've packed everything from books, to laptops, to clothes, to video game consoles and small T.V.'s into this thing. It's survived all sorts of travel, been out in all types of extreme weather, been stretched, pullled, had candy melted inside of it and yet it's still a great bag -- well, maybe not the pocket with the melted candy. There's two huge open pockets on the front that can each fit a novel, two nice sized pockets on the side that can be snapped shut -- these can fit convenience store drinks quite easily, the main space can fit all that I mentioned in sentence #2, and there's even a smaller pocket inside to fit pens or spare change.100% well worth the money spent.

This is a great bag! It is made of heavyweight, durable material. Plenty of room and four spacious pockets. The two pockets on the front, under the flap will hold a large novel or notepad. The two pockets on the side are very deep and hold my large cups and water bottles.The only complaint is that when there is heavy items in the bag that weigh it down, it causes the d-ring to turn sideways, causing the strap to be longer and puts strain on the shoulder.

I love this bag! I ordered it in brown, and it looks beautiful in person. I was glad I didn't have to pay shipping on it, and actually, it came a day earlier than predicted! The fabric is very high quality and the strap is nice and wide. It is big enough for my 14" laptop and two books,and maybe one textbook in the middle area. The zippered pouch on the inside could hold about a few pens and gum and a cell phone. The two larger compartments under the flap are fairly big, I bet you could hold two flipflops in one. While the whole bag is rather shapless without anything or little in it, I curves nicely to your body when it's on your shoulder. It would make a good plane carry-on or a schoolbag. Maybe if you pack light it could even be an overnight bag! The weight could probley begin to hurt your shoulder if you need to carry it for more than an hour at a time I believe, so take that into consideration. Overall, the size is perfect for my use, the color is spot-on and very attractive, the strap is very ajustable and comfortable, and the bag was shipped very quickly with good packaging. Plus the design of the bag is very suitable for both genders. I can't wait to find more uses for my new favorite bag!
