I have two of these on a Pelican case. I work in aviation maintenance. These are beautifully made, sturdy, and can take a beating. Just what I was looking for. Very happy with them.

Vorab, ich empfehle das Produkt und bin damit zufrieden. Seit 5 Jahren in Verwendung !!! Im Detail, begründe ich es wie folgt: Lieferung: Artikel wurde binnen wenigen Tagen unbeschädigt geliefert. Artikel/Produkt: abus zahlenschloss 165/40 Material/Qualität: material wirkt robust und solide. Zahlen lassen sich leicht verstellen ohne zu haken. Funktionalität: ich verwende es nun seit 5 Jahren (!) Und ich bin hoch zufrieden. Ich würde es definitiv wieder bestellen. Es wirkt wirklich hochwertig und funktioniert auch nach Jahren noch einwandfrei. Es wurde teilweise im Garten bei einer Gartenbox verwendet bzw auch an einem Spind im Innenbereich. Es macht was es soll und das seit Jahren - Top! Mein FAZIT: Ich bin im ganzen sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und würde es wieder kaufen. Ich kann es definitiv empfehlen. Das Preis-leistungsverhältnis finde ich gut. Wie immer werde ich diese Rezension umgehend überarbeiten, sollte sich ein Mangel oder Defekt, insbesondere nach längerer Zeit, bemerkbar machen. Lo compré para una caja y menos mal que con las justas encaja y entra en los orificios. Este es un candado grande y grueso. Si lo quieren para una maleta de viaje, les recomiendo uno más pequeño.

There are many similar locks that looks like this lock, all in various colors many with different brand name etc. Don’t be fooled they are the same thing all from the same manufacturer but with different brand name. They are all useless, I have tried them all. This lock is very easy to set up and change its combination without accidentally locking yourself out which means you can’t unlock resulting to cutting of the lock. Trust me it will happen one day when you least expected it. This lock is relatively secure as unfortunately there is nothing like 100 percent security with any combination lock. The setting lining is at the front which makes it very easy to lock or unlock this lock unlike the rest similar ones which are on the side which makes it very difficult to see the character. This lock is king of them all, solid quality and absolutely beautiful piece of engineering. They fit very well just make sure get the right size for your purposes as they comes in different sizes. You don’t need to use any force because although this lock is very robust yet they are very easy on your hand even a six years old or the old folks with weak fingers will find the mechanism and usage relatively easy. I have tried other combinations locks and I am very happy to finally find a proper lock that is fit for purpose
