Absultely perfect for my Canon M50
There are so many of these on here I struggled initially to decide. Thankfully I pumped for this one and I can report that it works PERFECTLY with my Canon M50. If you're a little new to all this DSLR stuff you might panic like me about how I close the battery door with this plugged in. Well if you haven't already noticed, there is a little rubber cover on your battery door (who knew!) that you can peel back and it makes a perfect hole for the DC plug to go in. Worked instantly with no issue.

Amazing. Plug it to a powerbank and your camera lasts an eternity.

Works well
Shame the lead isn't longer. Need an extension lead to plug into unless you are right next to a plug socket.

Excellent for long shoots
a truly amazing product, being a content creator for youtuber i needed a way to have my camera on for multiple hours at a time and my EOS M50 typically only lasted about 30 minutes on battery. this however has completely sorted all my issues. the cable is long enough and none intrusive in my setup and having used it for months now i have absolutely no issue with it. As the product came from china though delivery time was expected to be a month. quite long however it turned up after just over a week which was really nice and surpassed my expectations.

YO READ THIS PLEASE!!!
Background: I have a canon eos m50. I used a 50mm 1.8 and a 24mm 2.8 with this product. PRO It allows you to use an external battery when your battery runs out. CON!!!!!!!! Shooting in servo or quick shutter speed, for some reason the shutter gets stuck in the lens, and it makes this really weird awkward noise like you're taking a long exposure but you're not. Like its lagging Shooting multiple photos quickly crashes the system. When I was doing it my m50 would turn off and on again. Its a worrying because I don't want to damage my Camera/ lenses CONCLUSION: Good as a back up for STILL photography. NOT ideal for on the go quick snaps.

A very important piece of equipment
Just what I needed for my Canon M50. It works very well.

Ideal when long-term power needed
Arrived way ahead of the estimate and worked exactly as described. The dummy battery fits perfectly and can be used with the Quick Charge power supply in the box but I've tried it using a Ravpower 20000mha QC3 compatible battery pack which is perfect for this. My main use is to power the Canon M50 to use it as a web cam, now that Canon has released software to allow for that, but this setup now gives the option to have emergency power available when out and about or for doing time-lapse sequences where I can now be in the middle of nowhere but run the camera continuously without having to change batteries. Great opportunities now await - when we're allowed out of course! (Written May 2020)

Does the job, but adds ground hum to the audio with plug provided. Use a big power bank instead.
Update: - No hum if using a decent portable battery (moved from 3star to 4star). It's okay... The output voltage measured at 8.09V which appears to be fine for running my Canon EOS M50 however regardless of whether I use the provided 3A USB power plug or my own 4A one there was a noticeable ground hum on the audio portion of videos. The hum is not out of control and very consistent so should be removable via editing tools but it would be nice not to have to do this. If audio is not important (time-lapses for instance) or you are happy to clean the audio in editing then this is fine. Update: - No hum if using a portable battery
