Glycolic Foaming Cleanser for All Skin Types| Exfoliating Face Wash with Glycolic Acid & Aloe Vera| Visibly Evens Skin Tone & Texture

This is my go to Glycolic product. I have tried others, like the glycolic toner, but haven’t gotten the same results as this. I enjoy the packaging of this product and it’s not something I see often in others. I can’t say I’d enjoy it as much if it came with a pump or in a tube. The bottle is clear so you can see when it’s nearing empty. The best part is that when it’s almost gone you can just screw off the top and thump out the last of the product. This ensures you get everything you paid for! The appearance once dispensed is a clear jelly like substance that dissipates and becomes sudsy once emulsified. The scent is light and not overwhelming. I haven’t experienced any irritation when using the product in accordance with the manufacturer instructions. I have very oily skin, so that could play a role in that as well. I also found it to remove makeup pretty effectively as well. This product has reduced the appearance of acne scars on my skin, and it has also made my face noticeably softer. This facial wash is very easy to use both on the face and body. I have used it on my scalp too. Definitely a must have for me.

I will never use a different skin care line again. I bought the glycolic foaming cleanser, the cucumber cleansing lotion (Its like an astringent but way more gentle), their whitening mask, their cucumber cleansing mask, and their vitamin c serum as well as their aloe moisturizer. In one week of using this new routine, my face has improved in ways I never thought it could. The glycolic foaming cleanser is gentle, yet very effective at washing away the excess oils, dirt, and makeup while leaving my skin soft and plump. Full of moisture, no drying. On Monday mornings, its just the glycolic cleanser and the aloe lotion (SPF 15 I I believe?) But on Monday nights, after using the cleanser and the cucumber toner, I use the whitening mask. It helps lighten the acne scars on my face and even out my skin tone. Then after washing it off, the aloe lotion is perfect for moisturizing. A little goes a long way. At first your face will seem a little greasy, but give it a moment and it absorbs into the skin. Tuesday mornings, same as Monday mornings, but at night, its the cleanser, toner, and the vitamin c serum. No aloe lotion needed. Wednesday mornings, the same, but for the evening, I use the cleanser, toner, cucumber mask, and aloe lotion. Just amazing. Thursday mornings, the same as the other mornings, but in the evening its a repeat of Monday's evening routine. Friday, same in morning, repeat of Tuesday's routine. Saturday morning, same morning routine, repeat of Wednesday's evening routine. However, on Sunday, the morning routine will be the same as the evening routine. I saw dramatic positive changes in my face and will soon add photos of before and after. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I love this cleanser. I use it nightly in combination with the Mario Badusco glycolic gel for oily skin. It’s a recurring order for me. I’ve been using it for at least 4 years and I m very satisfied with the cleanser and glycolic gel.

Like many busy adults, I’m looking for the most efficient way to get clear skin, not something that ties me up for over an hour each week and preventative. I also wanted something that is dermatologist recommended and doesn’t contribute to aging. This product hit all those notes. You only use 1-3 times per week, it’s pretty fast to apply and remove—can you really get more efficient? After a month of using it 2x a week I only have one acne nodule, and less acne overall (whereas I usually have a few more) and the pre-existing acne and spots have been SLOWLY clearing up. My skin looks more even in general. And in terms of aging, this is mildly exfoliating without any abrasion, which is great! I’d feel more comfortable with no exfoliation but without it I’d probably just be getting more acne scars. Although I am somewhat light skinned I do have pronounced hyper pigmentation and this has been helpful, although I can’t tell if it’s only because I have less acne surfacing or if it is also because it phases out the hyperpigmentation spots. I was hoping it would lighten the dark corners of my lips, but so far I don’t see a difference there. I don’t think this product is a silver bullet, but it is a great bang for your effort and great bang for your buck. I would recommend going by the directions, which say 1-3 times a week and depending on the skin type. Definitely moisturize afterwards and maybe protect your lips as you apply (I bite my lips constantly, I don’t need any more exfoliation there). I would use it at night, because it makes your skin sensitive to the elements, so ensuring some time between the wash and sun exposure is helpful, I think. I don’t know if this could replace an every day wash, but I’ve skipped my regular wash on the days where I use this product.

I went to a spa and a lady recommended me glycolic. This worked really well for my face when ever I get acne. After use you will need a moisturizer cause it does dry the face a bit. Just with a little it will it’s enough. It foams up and it feels refreshing after. It’s really good to add for a face routine. It has a pleasant smell. The Quality is perfect for the price.

Game changer. Oily, dull, uneven color and blemished acne prone skin--BEGONE! After a year of using this, I've finally decided it's time to sing it's praises from the mountain tops! I was looking for products that contained glycolic acid and After doing extensive Google research on the pros and cons of GA, I decided that peels were just too risky for me. Even the most "for sensitive skin" GA Peels on the market could potentially be too strong for someone just dabbling or barely starting their GA journey. One day I was at ULTA and a friend of mine was raving about how amazing MARIOS skin care line was. I saw a bottle of this GA foaming wash and for $20 I thought, “oh What the heck ” It’s pricey but not as pricey as other GA products on the market. And damn, I’m so glad I took a chance because this has seriously and drastically improved the quality of my skin. I have combination oily acne prone Pacific Islander skin. This GA wash dissolves stubborn sebum and gunk which allows your skin/pores to breathe. Your other facial products are therefore more effective by allowing products like toners, serums, moisturizers to sink in instead of just sitting on top of dead nasty skin! The amount of GA in this product is just right—did not burn or cause redness or peeling. It simply sloughs away the dead dry skin and funk, chemically (there are no beads or grains), and washes away with water. GA is a chemical exfoliate after all. I recommend using a moisturizer with sunscreen (Aveeno SPF30–another game changer) daily while using this product. Scratch that! Even if you don’t use GA you should be using SS daily anyway lol. As far as claims on here that this MARIO B. GA FOAMING WASH is a fake, don’t believe it. Its exactly the same as the ones sold at ULTA. I think the reviews claiming it's a knock off just want a free bottle. They most likely poured the stuff out and replaced it with something else hoping for a refund. *Insert eyeroll emoji here lol* PRO TIP: A little of this stuff goes a LONG way. Two pea sized dollops or even just one pea sized dollops is enough to get suds going. If you're careful and use only that much this will last you a good while.

Okay, so I'm not one to gush about a product because it does what it's actually supposed to do, but my god is this product amazing. So I made the mistake in thinking this was a daily cleanser, I was surprised how I was only supposed to use it 2-3 times a week. Alrighty then, I got an exfoliator. First thing I noticed is that it smells like it's a cleaner. Not that it's super unpleasant, but I can definitely believe there's some chemicals that are *fingers crossed* going to work on my skin. It was gentle, foamed up great and my skin didn't feel tight when I rinsed off the soap (like you may have expected with cleanser like this). A week and a half goes by, and jesus is my skin CLEAR. Like, I barely have any dark spots now, much less acne. And I've struggled with acne scars forevvvveeerrrrrr and in just a week or so they're essentially gone. Not only that, but my skin is smooth; like, baby skin type smooth. No annoying bumps, no scars, I'm currently in heaven. I'm honestly blown away, especially since I can't get any professional facials done so my skin has suffered a bit. I would definitely recommend this for someone who has healed their cystic/teenage acne and need that extra boost to heal and remove their acne scars and help with rough textured skin. That being said, PLEASE WEAR SUNSCREEN DURING THE DAY. This helps with the scaring as well :)

I’ve been a regular user of this Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser, and it’s one of the best exfoliating face washes I’ve tried. It leaves my skin feeling super clean, smooth, and refreshed without being harsh. I like to use it a few times a week to keep dullness away, and it really helps with uneven texture. A little goes a long way, so one bottle lasts quite a while.

Love this cleanser. I only use it 2x a week. Great at exfoliating the face, giving it a nice and refreshed feeling. Can be a bit drying and stripping so don’t over-use it. Also, because it’s foaming, you really don’t need to use a lot. I can tell this bottle will last me a whkle. A small squeeze and rub it in your hands and it will foam up. The scent is also amazing, smells zesty but I like it!

Really works for acne prone skin!

El producto llegó a tiempo, bien empacado y sin derrames. Me decidí a comprarlo después de investigarlo y enterarme que además de ser un excelente producto de belleza también ayuda a disminuir la pigmentación facial. La presentación del producto es buena, el dosificador es un plus, ya que no desperdicias producto y usas la cantidad adecuada y genera suficiente espuma limpiadora. Es un gel un poco espeso por lo que con poco producto obtienes una buena espuma limpiadora. El olor del ácido es relativamente fuerte sin llegar a molestar. El producto dice ser para todo tipo de piel y sugiere usar 2 veces a la semana si se es de piel seca y de 2 a 3 veces si se tiene la piel mixta. En mi caso soy de piel mixta y sensible. La primera vez que lo usé, aun habiendo limpiado mi cara previamente con un agua micelar y lavarme la cara, les he de decir que me bajó de la piel tal cantidad de impurezas que me quedé muy sorprendida, de hecho en casa me dijeron que se me notaba más ahora la pigmentación por el hecho de haberme limpiado la cara a profundidad. Después de lavarme la cara me quedó cierta rojez en el rostro, soy de piel sensible, pero no me provocó ni rasquera ni ardor ni nada parecido. Al poco rato desapareció. El rostro me quedó liso, mate y ligeramente seco, es necesario aplicar un tónico y una crema hidratante posteriormente. Durante el proceso de enjuague me he percatado que crea una barrera en el rostro evitando que se pierda la humedad de la piel, es decir después de unos momentos sientes como el agua solo resbala por tu cara como si la hiciera impermeable, es la primera vez que siento esta sensación con un limpiador. Llevo un mes usando el producto, la primera semana usé el producto todas las noches y he de decir que el tono general de mi piel ha mejorado bastante, me ha eliminados el exceso de impurezas del rostro. Después de ese semana pude notar que La zona seca de mi cara, mi piel es mixta, se ha hecho visiblemente un poco mas seca, por lo que he optado no usar el producto todos los días en dicha zona y de manera general prefiero usarlo de acuerdo a las indicaciones del fabricante, de 2 a 3 veces por semana. Es necesario usar crema humectante, yo estoy usando una de nivea y me funcionan de maravilla ambos productos. En resumen es un buen producto. La relación precio calidad es insuperable pero hasta el momento, en lo personal, no he visto algún efecto favorable sobre mis áreas con pigmentación.
