Highly recommend! Snakes LOVE to get in our swimming pool and around our house due to the ponds and fields however when I put this out I have no worries about snakes. It doesn't smell good but it is worth it to keep them away. Do not put out before rain or it will not last as long.

It is truly very smelly as many reviews said. Hopefully it repels snakes away with that smell!!

Smells like moth balls when you first lay it down, but that smell goes away after a day or so. Its tough to prove its working, but we've been using it off and on for years and when we don't lay it down, we tend to get garter snakes in the yard - if I put this out around the areas they tend to visit, we don't get them any longer.

i moved to arizona, last year, and bought this, i put it around my house about 50 ft away aound sprinkled it about 10 ft wide, around may, and again in august, i never saw a snake until october, and it was a rattler, but it was a little cold outside, i dont know if it was because of this stuff or not, but this place is rattlesnake central, it stinks for a couple days, but not real bad because its away from the house, this was last year, but i just bought 3 10 lb bags, and i had a bag from last year, the bag from last year stunklike it should, but the 3 bags i just boght march 26, dont stink at all
