UPDATE!
July 15, 2015 UPDATE: Took ONE PAIR on a four day/three night hike/camping adventure in Haleakala. Worked well. I did get some sand/gravel into my shoes on the first day causing a HUGE blister on the arch of one of my feet. No socks would've stopped that. I ended up covering the blister with moleskin and that worked fine. The socks held up great, otherwise. I would wash the socks as soon as we finished each daily segment. They are thin enough to dry overnight in the humid atmosphere of Hawaii. no need to carry multiple pairs and saved some weight. JUNE 22, 2015 UPDATE: I decided to give the socks one more try, using a pair another pair of shoes, and they worked flawlessly! It seems my other shoes were the culprits as they gave me heel blisters no matter the socks I wore. OLD REVIEW: Gave me terrible blisters on my heals. I loved that it kept my toes very dry and comfortable, but unfortunately these socks tore away the skin on my heels. Tried different shoes and different outer sock combos and no matter the combo my heels got wrecked.

great sock liners!
These are GREAT sock liners! I'm new to hiking gear and stumbled upon liner socks on amazon.com accidentally while looking for wool hiking socks. Never heard about liners but read the comments and decided to give them a try. I took them on AZ/UT vacation. The socks are incredible! They keep your feet dry and prevent rubbing - no blisters despite new hiking boots and loooong hikes. My girls loved their liners too - including the defiant teenager. My only regret is that I couldn't find such liners for the little feet of my 6 year old. I washed them by hand in the hotel sink every evening and they dried overnight. One night I forgot to wash them and went on without the liners. I really felt the difference! As soft as my merino wool hiking socks are, the liners are nicer and silky against the skin, and since they are so snug there is zero rubbing. The liners are very thin and don't add much thickness. They also look very good - shiny like silk. Nobody sees that but it's nice to know. :-) However, I find them staining easily. Yellow and red canyon dust made it's way through boots and wool socks to the white liners and they were never white again (heel and ball parts only). I'm looking forward to using them in my everyday life. Will buy more but most likely in black this time. Sizing. The small was great for my 6.5 wide feet. I bought same size for my daughter - she is size 5, she wasn't complaining. The medium fit my other daughter's 7.5 feet very well.

Comfortable and perform their task well
I wear these in conjunction with my Icebreaker Mens Hike Light Crew socks. On longer (~20mi) cross-country summer hikes in boots and with about a 30lb pack, I'll swap into a fresh pair (of both) about three times, where in the winter I'll swap twice. Very nice feel to them, soft and comfortable, pretty much no abrasion or blisters so long as you change them out when they become too damp. So well fitted that when I swap them I can see the bones/tendons/veins of my foot imprinted in the material, so you know they aren't moving around next to the skin. Wouldn't recommend wearing them by themselves, they are liners only. Preferable to one heavy pair of socks, to be certain.

Good liner, plan to buy more
I originally bought these as a gift for a friend who works outside a lot, but my son was going hunting and his feet always get too cold so I gave them to him to put on. He's a young teenager so it took coercing but he wore them. I was amazed that they went on his feet so easy - his feet are very wide and it's always difficult getting socks and shoes for him. He wears an 11-1/2 4E shoe, sometimes 5E, and the Large 11-13 Liners went on easily, the heel was in the right place and not up the back of his ankle like some larger socks I buy him. He wore them the first morning and when I asked how they were all he'd say is "they're fine". But the next morning I watched him put them on again sooooooo they had to be worth it :) After the second day hunting he said they definitely kept his feet warm. I know that's not a ton of feedback but for my teen that's the equivalent of jumping up and down with pom poms. So - they keep feet warm, they're true to size; and if you have wide or large feet, the Large is going to fit. The friend I had bought them for wears only a 9-1/2, I had bought Large because other insulated socks came in so small; but now I know I can just order a Medium for him - I'm going to do that now! He has trouble with circulation and his feet and toes are always cold even in the spring and fall; so I think the liners will be helpful to him even then.

Works
My lady friend uses them for skiing. Thin, wicking and hard wearing.

They kept me from getting blisters...
I've only worn these socks on one hike so far, but they worked beautifully to keep me from getting blisters (which happens very easily to my feet!). I will be using them on a longer hike soon, and will update this review if there are any issues. They feel good on my feet, and I love the way the seam is on the outside of the toe box, and not up against my toes. That helps a lot! Update: I wore these liners with socks on several hikes in Alaska in August: a 9.6-mile hike, a 7-mile hike, and multiple 3+ mile hikes. I didn’t get even one blister, and I was amazed! That’s never happened to me before. I swear by these liners now!! I won’t hike without them ever again.

OK but not great
I got these as liners for the nice wool socks I wear all the time. They serve okay in this capacity, but they're not as nice as the polypropylene liners I used to use for hiking. They are actually sewn into a foot shape and the material isn't stretchy, so they have to be positioned just right on your foot in order not to feel twisted. They're not especially silky or soft to the touch, either. The toe seams are oddly protuberant and when you put them on they are like little cables that require some attention to get rightly positioned. In a soft leather shoe I couldn't feel them, though. As to size, I wear a women's shoe size 9.5 and the large size exactly fits my foot. In summary, I'm okay with these but wouldn't buy them again. Still hunting for a better product.

NO BLISTERS!!!
I absolutely love these socks. The first time I ordered them I only got one pair because I wanted to make sure they fit and worked well. I should have ordered a truck load. These socks are fantastic. I have always had problems with my feet especially when hiking. I would get major blisters even on short hikes. I have not had a single blister since getting these socks. I still get a few hot spots on my heels but NO BLISTERS!, and that should be expected anyway. They also do a good job on moisture wicking and keeping your feet cooler, and the added bonus of drying really fast. I can even wear cheap Walmart socks over top of them and be just fine, wool socks are to thick for me, they cram my feet in my boots. Only problem with them is that they are white. :( White socks and dirt do not mix well, but that is a very minor detail. I really have nothing bad to say about them. So, my advice to anybody on the fence about buying these, BUY THEM they are fantastic.

Muy delgados
Estan muy delgados pero se ven de buena calidad. Aún no se usan por lo que no se si aguanten las lavadas. Se los compre a mi papa y le gustaron mucho. El es XL y le quedaron bien. Esta marca siempre es garantía.

Great liner socks!
Well made, incredibly comfortable, and a pleasure to wear. The best I’ve found. Now, can we talk about a colour other than white? My only (minor) complaint…

Te mantienen seco
Los utilice debajo de unos calcetines de lana en la nieve, funcionaron muy bien manteniendo mis pies secos, sle quité una estrella porque el ajuste de la pantorrilla es muy pequeño.
